I observed this several times, when I go to public hospitals or polyclinics I see no one at the reception and only see empty application with a pen placed on the counter which means that patients should fill out the application themselves I suppose. Then the poor porter (sometimes janitor) come to pick the application and go to get the medical file and that’s totally not his concern hoping to get a trivial tip. I know we have issue with absenteeism and employees lacking to perform their jobs as required in Kuwait but it’s getting worse these days. The superiors should be more strict to enforce discipline but I guess the issue starts from the top.

A friend shared with me this new sarcastic video produced by the Kuwaiti YouTube channel sheno ya3ni, I know they have made some really naughty videos but this time they hit the nail on the head. They’re showing how some employees in government sector actually have zero productivity and demand for salary increment.
I’ve to agree since some paper work takes me almost forever to finish sometimes. See more videos for them here
Thanks [Khalid]

Today we had a meeting with our manager at our company for a new project and during the meeting he said “We want you all to compete for the interest of the project, those who work hard will get promoted“, I went back to my office and came across this hilarious video on YouTube that explains how promotions work in most workplaces.
“Winning is nice, if you don’t lose your integrity in the process”, makes any sense?

I admit I’m becoming a coffee addict and I can’t imagine that a working day passses without enjoying a cup of coffee. Today we will share with you a unqiue experince to enjoy ice shaken espresso at work.
First you’ll need to get a Nespreso CitiZ C120 machine, what’s nice about this model (and the current one too) is that you can use the side accessory to make either a cappucino (frothed milk) or latte (steamed milk) and with the latest version you can also make frothed cold milk, you also need to buy a Shaker to make ice shaken espresso.
Here are illustrations of the process:
1. Add ice to shaker:
2. Insert pod into machine (I used the new Dhjana blend):
3. Espresso goes into ice shaker:

Now for a whole week I have been going to the Ministry of Interior to get some paper work done but the offices were almost always empty and everyday I’m asked to come tomorrow, in normal days this process takes 1-2 days to finish !
I really love Ramadan and enjoy each day but I don’t like how some consider it as “Hibernation time”.
