I’m a fan of the American brand Kurt Geiger because they have stylish yet affordable shoes. I was at 360 Mall and saw they are opening another boutique, I remember their first boutique was opened back in 2008 at the Avenues Phase II.
How many times have you seen car dancing? No seriously? Our friend Qabaq has sent us a video for classic lowriders swinging (or should I say dancing) at Shuwaikh beachfront, they actually seem they were dancing to the RAP music playing. I wonder how the hydraulic suspension of these cars work?
I knew more than 100,000 people will be there, I knew it will be crowded like no ever, I knew it would take me forever to find a parking spot and need to walk several kilometers, but this is all summed up didn’t hold me back from going to see the biggest fireworks show in the world. Yes Kuwait has broken the world Guinness record for the longest fireworks show ever made, it’s actually the longest in history, I read the non-stop show continued for over 77 minutes of thrilling fireworks that extended over the Kuwait shoreline.
Literally I had to park at Bneid Al Gar and had to walk all the way Applebee’s waterfront and reach for the beach to lay down on the sand to enjoy the show that started around 8:30 PM if I remember correctly, but was it really worth the 4 Million Dinar? Did it meet out expectations? I’ll leave the answer to you, all I can say that personally my eyes didn’t even blink throughout the show. I managed to take many shots with my Canon 600D DSLR camera, I’m also currently uploading HD videos but till they are fully uploaded I got you a temporary video.
I gotta admit the organizers Filmmaster MEA did a pretty good job, the way they divided the zones gave every one the chance to enjoy the show. I heard that the Emir of Kuwait was present at the show and gave speech, also there were representatives from Guinness World Records and they said they are glad to be in Kuwait and to witness such impressive fireworks show.
Only one day separate us from the biggest fireworks show ever, I just received the map showing the road closure and parking spots for the show tomorrow. Th green colors shows the open roads whereas the red color shows the road closure at Gulf Road which extends from 3rd ring road intersection to the intersection with Al Soor street (both directions), and it will be pedestrians only starting at 6:00 AM.
There will be buses to transport people to the viewers gallery, these are the pickup points;
Yachts Club parking
McDonald’s seaside parking
Layali Al Helmeya cafe parking
Naif Chicken parking
Al Sha’ab Leisure Park parking
Da’iya Co-op parking
Dasma Co-op parking
Shark Co-op parking
Sharq Market parking
Fishmarket parking
As for special needs and elders parking, it will be located in the open area nearby Dasman Palace. The parking spots are market on the map above with yellow color.
I received exclusive pictures for the on-going arrangements for Kuwait fireworks show. Apparently, new airplanes just arrived at Kuwait International Airport along with professional pilots from New Mexico based company, they will mount fireworks to the wing tips of the planes and fly them in the night time to create spectacular show that will light up Kuwait sky.
The organizers are promising that this will be the biggest fireworks show ever worldwide. Indeed this is going to be one spectacular and historical event, I heard many people from different countries are heading to Kuwait to see the show, I’ll keep you updated with more details, so now who’s excited?
Our friends from the Historical, Vintage & Classic Cars Museum have informed us that they will organize classic cars parade this Wednesday, where a long line of vintage cars will be wandering around Kuwait streets starting at Kuwait tower parking. Sounds cool I love vintage cars, I’ll try to shoot a video. So who’s coming?
Are you ready for the extreme show? I was told that Extreme Sports will organize competition and stunts show for beginner, amateur, and pro BMX riders and skateboarders tomorrow at Marina Skatepark, it sounds really cool I’m thinking to go to enjoy the show.
