I see that Kuwait traffic department has partially opened the 1st Ring Road today at 1:00 AM exact, now that’s a good start for 2012, the road that was opened is between Reyad street and Ali Al Salem street.
I was told that I’m the first one ever to use the new road, lucky me!
The main Buffalo’s branch in Salmiyah, which is located opposite to the scientific center on the inland side of the Gulf road, was one of my favorite restaurants in Kuwait, but it was closed a few years ago for re-decorating. Well last night, I boticed that its almost completed and when I spoke with the management they said they will open mid of May, 2011 
They also said it will have two levels and that it will have fancy interior.
While passing by Jabriya area today, I noticed they are opening pinkberry, Pizza Express, and Starbucks with a nice roof outdoor sittings. They were in the finale stages of finishing works, so I’d guess they will open in a week or so.
I circled the location so you can find them next time you are in Jabriya.
The famous theme restaurant Planet Hollywood, which is inspired by the popular portrayal of Hollywood with the backing of Hollywood stars Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Demi Moore, and Arnold Schwarzenegger will open soon in Kuwait in Salmiyah.
The opening was postponed several times before, but there’s a high possibility that it will open on the 24th of this month. Today I had spoken with the responsible manager & he said that the opening will be very soon, he also added these’rs a high probability that actor Sylvester Stallone will attend the opening
