Our friend Mufaddal spotted this but not sure where, I know there are building materials (مواد بناء) but have you ever heard of “Distruction Materials”?! I must say I’m quite surprised to see such mistranslation in Kuwait. So who needs Distruction materials?
This was spotted at Souk Mubarkiya, one of the oldest restaurants in Kuwait serving livers and hearts since 1953 displayed a sign stating that restaurant is closed for one month because the chef is on vacation. I suppose the chef can easily demand a salary increment since obviously the restaurant can never run without him.
The restaurant will re-open on 25th February, so who’s in for livers?
I don’t usually attend any comedy shows or plays in Kuwait, but I came to know that there will be two hours stand up comedy show called “The Comedy Hangout” featuring the funny Kuwaiti guys from the YouTube channel Sheno Ya3ni TV. I called them to ask about their prices, they said there are two tickets available; V.I.P for KD25 and regular for KD15 but they said these are the online prices, so if you bought the tickets directly they will charge KD2 more.
Where: Safir International, Bneid Al Gar, Gulf Street
Do any of the dudes above ring any bells? Last night there was a hilarious comedy show from the same guys behind YouTube comedy channel “Sheno Ya3ni” (Translates as So What) at Al Hamra Tower, they made me laugh my guts out, literally.
Luckily I managed to get you a full video but I apologize for the bad angle, it could have been better if I was standing in front.
Now this is kinda funny, I spotted this shop at Al Mohalab mall that uses the same logo as Virgin Megastore except that this shops sells lingerie instead. Coincidently I saw the owner, who insisted that their logo is not the same as Virgin Megastor since it has two underlines instead of one!
What really made me laugh though is when the owner said “After Kuwait censorship caused Virgin Megastore to shutdown, they’re now after me and they want to close-down my Virgin shop too”.
