IMG_9037 (Large)Chocolate has always been like a drug to me in the winter, I crave it enormously! Luckily Kuwait has several great chocolate-specialized restaurants and yesterday I was exclusively invited for the opening of  The Chocolate Cafe which is the latest addition to the chocolate places in Kuwait. The Chocolate Cafe is opened at The Food Circle in Mishref, I arrived at around 9:00 pm and I made sure to be there on empty stomach because I knew there will be high calories involved.

IMG_9052 (Large)The owners greeted me warmly and started explaining the concept, they said they wish to offer customers such an unforgettable chocolate experience by combining the Belgium, French, and American chocolate cuisines and by using the highest quality of Swiss chocolate. I looked at the temporary menu and saw they serve Crepes, Macaroons, cakes and cupcakes, hot desserts, fondue, brownies, dips, pudding in addition to hot and cold drinks, smoothies, shakes, and coffee.

IMG_9040 (Large)Also I saw they serve sizzlers and iron grilled chocolate which are served for first time in Kuwait. Personally I ordered the French toast (tasty and light especially with sauce), hot chocolate fudge cake (filled with fudge and coupled with ice cream) and of course the crepes (crispy and tasty with Nuttela). The decorations were simple and neat, there were tables indoor and outdoor based on your preference.

IMG_9043 (Large)I liked how they let customers see how they prepare the crepes and sizzlers so customers can ask for any additions. The prices were in the KD0.500 fils to KD3.000 ,however I didn’t taste the other items so I can only judge what I tried.

Address: Mishref area, The Food Circle beside Yarmouk Sporting Club.

Are you a morning person? If yes then read our review on the soft-opened MILK restaurant and cafe.

We got invited yesterday and we liked the whole experience. Milk is a high-end Kuwaiti concept cafe that combines cafe’s and restaurant in one cozy place.

The first question on my mind was “Why the name MILK?”, “Every plate we offer has some sort of MILK in it” they said.

I also liked the simple interior design with white color everywhere, plus their was a nice outdoor sitting.

They offer crepes, sandwiches, cakes, sweets, milk-shakes, and even frozen yogurt.

Taste-wise, we liked what we tasted and the prices were reasonable and service was great.
Address: Opposite to Al Seif Palace, Gulf Road.

Opening times (Soft opening): 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

We would like to thank MILK for their kind invitation and we wish them all the best.

Cinescape cafeteria has added new item called “Cine Crepe” so I wanted to taste it.

I loved the way they prepared the bread, it looked hot and tasty ! Then they either add Nutella, sugar, or simply leave it plain. I picked Nuttela, oh I always loved it.

The taste was great but I want more Nutella, the price is 1 K.D. Bon appetit !
