Now this is kinda funny, I was at Marina Mall when I saw a long line, mostly girls, waiting at OSN booth, I thought they’re running some summer offer or special promotion, so out of curiosity I waited along with the line to only to find out almost half an hour later that the crowd was because of Harem Al Sultan season 2 showing only on Showtime. The salesman was happy saying “Our profits have jumped”.
Over 25 years have passed and I still recall how all kids gathered in the A.M to watch the amazing space adventure cartoon “Grendizer“ created by the Japanese artist Go Nagai. One of the things I loved about Grendizer is the theme song and the voices, and I always wondered whose voice is that, and after 25+ years I got the answer !
His name is Sammy Clark, very well-known Lebanese singer and famous for his golden voice and successful music history. A friend of mine sent me a video of Sammy Clark being interviewed on Al Hurra TV channel and singing Grendizer theme song and that alone brought back a bunch of lovely memories.
He sang for other cartoon themes such as Jazeerat El Kanz and others. He has a nice facebook page and a website too.
Am I the only one who thinks that there are way too many upcoming series showing on Ramadan ? I’m at complete loss which one to follow. I also noted that many of them had almost the same actors just playing different roles, this creates even more confusion.
I’m starting to wonder if they are presenting a true-authentic drama or just commercial one. Back to the topic, which series will you watch and why? Personally, I’m favoring Sa’ad Al-Faraj Bu-Kareem and probably Saher El Lail 2.
