Impressions: Smash Burger
Its been over a month since I had any burgers, today I had a chance to try out the new American burger franchise, Smash Burger, that will open in couple days at Abu Al Hassaniya.
It came all the way from Colorado to open their first branch in Middle East in Kuwait. Outside there was a nice seating area and inside it was simply designed, first thing I noticed was their nice animated digital menu.
Luckily their franchise support manager was there, he said the name comes from smashing the ball of the Angus ground beef (from the U.S) on a grill to “sear in the juices.
I ordered their Kuwait Burger and Kuwait fries, both were spicy but I liked it, however their signature is the Classic Burger with the smash sauce, sauce was tasty.
I also saw they serve milkshakes from Haagen-Dazs, I picked the oreo and was sweet. There were chicken burgers and salads but I didn’t try them, I also tasted their sweet fries, but I favored the normal fries.
What’s cool is that they had several type of buns to choose from for your burger, you can also customize your own burger.
Prices were ranging between KD 1.900 to KD 2.750, generally I was satisfied with what I tried.
Address: The Village nearby Upper Crust Pizzeria - Abu Al Hassaniya – Fahaheel express way.
