Last night I passed by the newly opened Kuwaiti-concept sweets and pastries outlet, Delicioso, at Galleria 2000 in Salmiya. The outlet is small yet nicely designed with vibrant colors.
I met the owner Bashayer Naif Jabir Alsabah and asked her about the idea and concept behind Delicioso, she said Kuwait has a lot of nationalities and expats from different countries and Delicioso aims to be the One-Stop-Center for favored international sweets, snacks, and pastries, made here in Kuwait
As for the name Delicioso its the Spanish word for delicious. They say they have sweets from 25 countries and serve around 50 (more or less) kinds of sweets. I liked how their cupcakes had vibrant colors and design, I think cupcake is the next big trend in Kuwait with Magnolia Bakery and Sprinkles Cupcakes opening soon.
I tasted some of their sweets and I liked their strawberry and chocolate cupcakes, frankly I haven’t tasted their other sweets. I asked them about the prices but I didn’t get exact figures.

BTW not every Sabah is reach and this is a small business just like the numerous businesses we see
