A buddy of mine informed me that Kuwait’s own Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) organization will kick off on September under the name Gladiators Fighting Championship (GFC). They will organize championships for full contact kick-boxing combats similar to UFC, but I think it will be controlled fights because in UFC the fights are just too gruesome and some of the competitors get serious injuries and bleeding.

This is cool! Apparently, it’s growing so fast in the GCC. But is this their official logo? Because it’s a copycat of the UFC’s. Same with the type of font below the initials. The least they could do is avoid this copycat logo & come up with their own. I mean, they are not going to be looked up to if their logo is an imitation of the real deal. Promotions like Pride FC, K1, Strike Force, & Elite XC have different & original logos & opted not to copy the UFC. That’s the right thing to do. Kuwait has tons of creative artists & illustrators, so hire one who could come up with an original & badass logo.
Believe me, I’m not a hater! I’m going to support them to the bones. It’s these kind of things allow critics & naysayers to slam your work. Other than that, I salute you!
Yes Bu Jwais I believe this is their official logo because its shown everywhere, and it sure does look similar to UFC’c logo with regards to fonts and style except for the flames in the background. Yes we have plenty of graphic designers in Kuwait and they can create creative designs, I’ll inform them about your remark ASAP. Thanks BIG time

Ok, I went to the event yesterday it was a JOKE .. very unprofessional judges and refs … mma in Kuwait us a fail if next something like this happens … the whole show failed with all the bum fights, seriously.. how can you mix in kick-boxing in an MMA cage? And the amateur refs keep giving time to players to recover …
Oh and most fighters played are in the wrong weight classes… what a rip off and hype for advertisement.
