A few days ago I posted about a big Basketball Court opening soon by 6th Ring Road, I also saw they will soon open a big Bowling Court in Salmiyah nearby the NBK and GEANT market. I think its owned by Public Authority For Youth And Sport, I’m so glad they are finally paying more attention to sports in Kuwait.

A press release about this complex I saw a year ago said it’s planned to open by September 2013, so just over a year from now. Not sure if that’ll stand.
Aside from a 50+ lane bowling facility, there will also be a small mall and hotel as part of the same building. There are renderings all along the fence at the construction site.
50+ bowling lanes, mashallah large. Didn’t know there will be a mall and hotel but that’s a nice combo.
