Hungry? Want something quick but fulfilling at the same time? Then head on down to Rowdy Taco, located at Alia & Ghalia Towers in Mahboula.
Kayan Restaurants, the owners of Smash Burger, have decided to launch their Mexican Concept – Rowdy Taco. The interior is amazing, the staff so friendly and the food – let’s just say I’ll be going back for more.
They have everything from Breakfast Tacos to Quesadillas, Salads, and even Dessert Tacos! All their ingredients are freshly prepared daily, using fresh local produce and organic foods. The price range is not bad at all as the most expensive item on the menu are the Quesadillas priced at 1.500 KD.
Today on my way to Kuwait City on Road 30 I saw Platinum Health Club near Messilah almost completed, so I took a quick detour to find out if they have opened yet. The reception said their expected opening date is on 10th of May and that the monthly rate will be less than KD50 (that’s even cheaper than Oxygen Gym Jabriya). I tried to get a sneak peek tour but they said they are still bringing in the machines, though they said it will be one of the best looking gyms in Kuwait.
I’ll make sure to check it out before the grand opening to show you how it looks on the inside. It’s great to see that many health clubs are opening in Kuwait but I hope to see the prices getting lower.
Once again our friend skydiver Mohammad AlRefaei brings us yet another cool video for him skydiving while sporting traditional Kuwaiti custom (Dishdasha and Ghetra). Now that’s something you don’t see everyday, do you?
I just received this link on WhatsApp about presumably new traffic law penaltieshere in Kuwait and I wanted to share it with all of you. Please lets try to be more careful of our driving because the accident rates have been increasing lately. Have a good day and safe driving!
Update: Ministry of Interior has officially mentioned that above penalties are false.
It’s known that two minds are better than one, and three minds are better than two. Well how about when ten minds come together, what happens then? – Something revolutionary that’s for sure! I love it when people put their minds to good use and create something so practical, and so beneficial. I met and sat with a brilliant man, Ali Abulhasan, whom along with 9 other friends of his created a web app (TAP) that will make all our lives much easier. The three main points of Tap are:
Tap is a web app tool made for businesses and consumers in Kuwait.
For consumers, Tap provides fast, simple way to pay through smartphones, all in one place and absolutely free
For businesses, Tap provides an entire ecosystem that offers instant mobile presence for businesses to market, sell and get paid
I was given a full run through the app and it was so user-friendly, and brilliant in its own special way. Tap is open for registration now. The web app will be active starting May 6, 2013.
