I read on Kuwait Times that Ministry of Education will replace traditional school books with flash memory starting before the Eid holiday, the project cost is K.D 259,000.
I find this excellent idea, students can now have books on their iPads or any tablet computer, they can also view them easily as PDF files. Add to this the money we could save for paper and printing, and on the positive effect on environment.

Nice much better than ordinary books and like u said less waste.
I don’t recall the last time I studied from a book…my notebooks are way more important…providing us with laptops or iPads & typing on them is the ideal soulotion
That is useful, but why not have the stuff uploaded on the net for viewing and people can download. What is the point of investing in Flash Memories.
Yeah, isn’t that mean that each student should have laptop or Ipads to study to solve hid/her homework.
