Do you recall my previous post about increasing marriage loan in Kuwait? Well I just saw this official letter issued by Minister of Housing stating that the marriage loan to be increased from 4,000 KD to 6,000 KD.
If this indeed true then I can’t help but think of how this will effect marriage in Kuwait, will the dowries increase as well? will marriage costs increase too? will men get married at younger age? and the list goes on and on.

المفروض هالزيادة تسهل امور الزواج بس اذا صار فيه ارتفاع في تكاليف الزواج والمهور فا على قولت المثل “لاطبنا ولا غدى الشر
العلاقة طردية إذا السالفة فيها فلوس، مع كل زيادة رواتب ولو بسيطة تجي زيادة أسعار الاحتياجات اليومية بنسب ملحوظة من غير مبررات.
نرجع لموضوعنا بخصوص نوقعات ارتفاع أسعار المهور فاتوقع شخصياً مع الأسف أن بعض الناس راح تستغل الزيادة وتطبق لنا العلاقة الطردية واحنا نقدر نقول وقتها “ما تغير شي” إذا ما صارت أسوأ من قبل.
اعتقد نفس النظريه تنطبق على جميع الزيادات في الكويت من ضمنها الرواتب والكوادر عشان جذي دايما نقول ان مو بضرورة تكون الزياده اهي الحل ولكن التحكم بمعدلات التضخم وتفهم الناس, خل ننتظر ونشوف شبصير.

Sorry but 6000KD as a loan is not much at all these days. If it was a gift then maybe that would be a different matter.
