A friend of ours has forwarded to us this image for the movie The Amazing Spider-Man seemingly using Al Hamra Tower as background, at the beginning I suspected that its Photoshopped but when I dug deep I found that this is a real concept art that was proposed during the making of the movie by American designer George Hull who was also behind movies Iron Man 2, The Matrix, Transformers, Battle Ship among others.
I’m loving Spider-Man with Al Hamra Tower theme, yes Al Hamra Tower does look unique and prestigious.

The tower in the movie called
(( Oscorp Tower ))
and it is Based on AL-Hamra Tower Design
The American designer ( George Hull ) said in his page :
“Early tower design inspired by architects skidmore, owings and merrill”(SOM)

Perhaps they have the same tower ,or the designer designed two towers one in kuwat and the other is in the US
The conceptual designer George Hull was inspired by Kuwait’s Al Hamra Tower
and use it on the movie. So I wonder if he got a permission to use this design ?!
Anyway I loved his designed version more than the actual one , The whole tower is covered
with glass ( Dark colored ) which I love and I really liked the bee cells windows it gives it much
modern touch unlike the usual square ones
Well I haven’t seen this movie is it any good ?
