Today I read on the paper that the ability to transfer mobile numbers between the three carriers in Kuwait was postponed till the end of 2012 and their reasoning is that the implementation needs more time, I was waiting patiently for the number transfer, but seemingly this is taking forever !
I recall a few months ago Wataniya Telecom had made a huge campaign about numbers transfer, I’m sure many wish to change their carrier but they just don’t want to get a new number. We really need a telecom authority in Kuwait to facilitate the process.
Update: It was published on Al Anba paper on 19 February 2012 that numbers transfer will be available by end of 2012.
