Good news for iPhone users, Google has just released their Maps App for the iPhone and it’s now available in AppStore. The app is similar to the Android version that I posted about before and includes many features such as voice guided turn-by-turn navigation, public transit directions, Street View, Traffic Report and more. Though I’ve to confirm if that maps fully supports Kuwait, I’m glad Google made peace with Apple so iPhone users can benefit.

All the features seems to be working in Kuwait, except street view. I tried the turn by turn navigation from work to my house, and it was quite accurate. Also, Apple have not really made peace with Google, and I doubt they will make peace anytime soon, but it is completely normal for them to put up their apps on the app store as long as they follow the app store policies.
I recall they had some sort of dispute between them, and Apple was trying to improve their maps app to compete with Google Maps but there were bugs and gltches.
It makes life much easier for us. We can avoid traffic easily using this device
The app is not that good. There many locations in which traffic is not shown, and its does not update very quickly. So accuracy is very low.
Yes I’m getting similar feedback from friends too, the traffic report feature needs enhancements from Google.
