I was heading to Salhiya today afternoon and I noticed that the remaining roads and over passing bridges at First Ring Road have opened, the road connecting Jahra round about and Gulf road was opened, also the bridge connecting Jamal Abdul Nasser road to Abdul Aziz Al Saqer road was opened in addition to all the other connections.
But why the bridges and most roads have only one lane? The project started back in 2006 with value of 28 Million Dinar.

Yes I was thinking why they constructed new roads consisting only of one lane?
I too thought it was a 1 lane bridges, but then one day I was driving through it, and saw this huge 4 or 5 lane streets connecting shuwaikh all the way to the center of Kuwait into Mubarkya which they now call it SOUK on the direction boards.
I was so happy when I paased on this way, It’s really weird feeling to be driving on a new constructed road feels like your not in Kuwait
I agree. Felt weird too. Let’s hope this solves the traffic jam downtown.
