My friend in Dubai told me that a heavy wave of fog has hit Dubai and covered all streets and high rise buildings, visibility was extremely low and drivers could barely see anything, I interrupted his conversation and asked if he can get me a video and luckily his answer was “Yes”. The time-lapse video that he sent me shows Dubai at sun rise, simply spectacular.

How long did the mist last?
I think for 2 days.
I saw the video and this is the first thing popped in my head.

Many are thinking that this is just an animation
Truly if it was not mentioned that this is real I would thought that it is animation. Just like the city sunk under water or smoke. By the way fog sometimes increases in the early morning and will disappear when the sun rises.
