Recall my post about Kim Kardashian coming to Kuwait rumor back in January? Well I just received news that she tweeted on her official twitter account saying that she’s coming to Kuwait on October 2012, I’m still not sure who will sponsor her visit but my best guess that she’s coming for the opening Millions of Milkshakes because they said on their website before that they will open in Kuwait this year, and again I guess it will open at the Avenues Phase III which will open this September.

@Anfal .. HIGHLY AGREE! Though Kuwait’s governing laws aren’t as strict as those of Saudi Arabia, it’s stilla Muslim country and should abide by those laws and traditions. Kim Kardashian is, LITERALLY, a prosititue, a woman of easy virtue!Her rear-end is open to any (black) man who wants it! Do you really want a ‘whore’ in your country promoting milkshakes? I’m not Arabic, but I have lived in Kuwait for over 10 years and I came to love it and respect it. I think its truly a wonderful country. And the locals are so friendly! You guys have soo many beautiful and talented Arabic celebrities — why not get them to promote it?! Why are you so insecure as to follow the West when you have such a rich culture? I’m with Anfal that a new petition should be initiated and the sponsor should be changed.

OMG i’m so proud of the replies she’s getting so far! and yet to think that most of us Kuwaitis (Especially the girls) have lost our self respect to the media and the started following the latest hoe (excuse my honesty), but i’m very glad to see that our society still values its Islamic religion, great cultures and beliefs and still respect our Kuwaiti traditions well enough to know that a woman such as Kim isn’t a good role model to follow and shouldn’t be idealized here in Kuwait!
I agree with most of what you guys replied, very proud to see such thinkers out there, and very happy and proud to see that most Kuwaitis find it highly inappropriate for a celebrity like Kim to represent any of us or any of the Kuwaiti business.
