A reader for our blog has emailed me pictures for newly installed smoking machines and public hand-sanitizers in Malls such as Al Fanar and Olympia. The idea of smoking machine is nice, they suck the smoke and prevent it from migrating plus there are ashtrays, this way non-smokers won’t be disturbed with the odor or worry about second-hand smoking.
As for the hand-sanitizer, its placed by the entrance of the mall and discharges a sanitizing foam, its great if you are going say to a restaurant or leaving the mall, there’s also a small screen for advertising. I wish other malls use these simple yet smart devices for a better shopping experience especially that most smokers neglect the non-smoking rules.
