I read on Al Watan paper today that Kuwait will ban all smoking ads on TV, Radio, Cinema, Newspapers, Magazines, Billboards…etc. starting from August 2012. I think this is a great decision even some may consider it strict, I still remember seeing Marlboro cigarettes ads in Cinema and yes back then I was tempted to smoke at early age but thankfully it didn’t become a life habit.
Though I’m disappointed with smoking policy at the malls, airport, and hospitals where some still smoke not caring about rules. I remember in Dubai, smokers had to smoke outside Emirates Mall and abide by the rules.

I don’t think this will happen because everytime I go to the Sheik Nasser hospital I see some employees smoking inside the ricket window and the smoke spread all over the area insode the hospital!!!
Imagin how dangerous it is to smoke insode a hospital full of pregnant ladies, children, old and sick people, and everytime I go there I write a letter and put it in the complain box of the health ministry.. but I was wasting my time but at least I’m doing something good!
if the authorities cannot prevent real cases like that, do u think they r interesting to ban few adv?!!
YES! YES! YES!
كلمالها وترجع الكويت وره مو حقهم يفرضون الوصايا علينا لكن من حقهم ينشرون التوعيه ضدها دوله عربيه شقول بعد
