A while ago I posted about Kuwait Airport intention to completely ban smoking soon, and today I came to know that the airport management had started the smoking ban, violators that were caught smoking at non-designated areas were directly sent to Jeleb Al Sheyokh police station and received penalties.
Now its turn for the malls and other public places to follow the same policy. Sorry smokers, but rules are rules !
I really hope that such rules are implemented with care.
I was just there yesterday morning – there are designated smoking areas (not well-signed yet). I saw at least 3 people smoking outside these areas but none of them were approached by any of the airport staff.
they dont say anythin to the kuwaitis who smoke but they shout at the hindis and stuff i hate that…
