I read medical reports claiming that almost 100% of Kuwaitis suffer from Vitamin D deficiency, yes I know many friends and relatives with low-vitamin D when they make lab tests.

This is weird because unlike other vitamins, Vitamin D is made in the skin with the aid of the sun light and we have a long summer and plenty of sun light in Kuwait ! There are foods that contain Vitamin D such as fish, milk, liver egg yolk, or by taking tablets or injections.

Vitamin D helps in cancer prevention, stronger bones, growth among many other important body functions.

I think the reason for that is that a lot of people don’t go out in this weather! and a lot of women are mit7ajbaat! and men wear dishdashas (most of them) so both cases not a lot of body parts are being exposed to the sun!

i just had my test and my vitamin D was 24 and the normal is 75 something so my doctor told me nothing will be useful at the level ela el injections so i must take 3 injection (one every months) i took one (and don’t believe the people who said its painful !! its not)

thank for sharing i posted about before 3 weeks hopefully people will encourge as you said Vit D is very important

I disagree with you because pharmaceutical companies want to promote their products. We can get vitamin D from sun exposure 10 minutes is more than enough also we can get it from dietary sources such as tuna, egg, mushrooms. So this study is false.

  7. Fz says:

There is nothing in this world 100%. The statement itself makes me disbeleif the content.

  8. Tahani says:

I know this issue too well lol, my doctor has been telling me off about my vitamin D level for years, my highest has been 12! although ive never taken injections, maybe that will help.

i think another issue for many people is iron deficiency, especially in women. A combination of the two is a recipe for fatigue! experienced in both fields lol

I visited government clinic near Hawally Park this morning but they said they dont have Vitamin D injection, can someone guide from where I can get it? They said buy it from outside and bring to us.

    Hi all,
I also have very low vit D about 30 and it should be minium 75. My doc gave me gel capsules 5000iu/day after 60 days my level became 75 i am taking more for 60 more days to reach optimum level.
my point is sunshine and capsules work if u want to avoid injections.
