I went over to 360 Mall today afternoon for an indoor walking sport since walking outside is really dangerous with temperatures exceeding 50 degrees and I saw that there was a walkathon organized by Kuwaiti nutritionist and diet expert Dr. Abdulla Al Mutawa – Owner of Rijeemy Center. I had a little chit chat with him and asked about the idea, he said they organize a daily walkathon starting at 4:30 pm inside the mall because it’s much safer and can be very beneficial for losing extra weight and educating people about healthy practices and diet tips.
They start with 5 minutes lecture given by an invited guest, then the walkathon starts and last for 45 minutes and at the end another diet expert gives a small lecture about health and diet. I liked the idea and will join them everyday, walking in an A/C mall is fun.

There’s also an indoor walking in the Avenues. But I don’t think they are also having an organized daily walkathon.
Well either of the two malls that you will choose, you can avoid heat stroke. A nice way of doing walkathon with your friends inside an air conditioned mall. :-)
