Now this is kinda funny, I spotted this shop at Al Mohalab mall that uses the same logo as Virgin Megastore except that this shops sells lingerie instead. Coincidently I saw the owner, who insisted that their logo is not the same as Virgin Megastor since it has two underlines instead of one!
What really made me laugh though is when the owner said “After Kuwait censorship caused Virgin Megastore to shutdown, they’re now after me and they want to close-down my Virgin shop too”.

loooool bawahahaha ;p
Dooms ya rab
OK How many shops are there in Kuwait who has similar name / logo to any
international names trade marks , I really don’t get the reason behind all this !!
Is it if they do that they will get more costumers or get more popular naming there
business over a famous familiar name , I see it’s so pathetic and must had shut down !
We’re not in the 90′s any more people
Absolutely true Q8MarronGlace +100
loool this is funny! they can’t be serious
So will this be shutdown too? :P
The guy was freaked out on how the censorship are after him :P
It’s true tho.
I’ve a lingerie wholesale store in Kuwait.
And the censorship in Kuwait is quite strict.
We should have the doors closed all the times,
the shop should be completely covered,
no photos whatsoever,
no salesman, only saleswomen,
no explicit tag lines or explicit brand names either,
no men allowed even as customer in the store,
and no mannequin allowed either.
Ever since these laws passed, we lost about 80% business.
As majority of our customers were Men.
But the good thing is our name isnt copied
It’s simply called “ALLAQ”
And surely have the biggest Babydoll collection in Kuwait.
with over 5,000+ designs.
Major supplier & distributor.
