I don’t know if I’m supposed to laugh or feel really ashamed! A video was published on YouTube showing a horrified Kazakh participant in the Asian shooting event in Kuwait because they mistakingly played an offensive film song, Borat spoof, as Kazakhstan National Anthem, ”Read the song translation in the video”!
Problem is that this has became the top story for many global journals such as the Telegraph, Daily Mail, Chicago Tribune, and others.

I just posted about it Taz because it’s just hilarious! My Dad was literally crying from laughing when I told him what happened last night. I think it was an honest mistake and we all just need to laugh about it and move on. A few apologies to the country of Kazakhstan wouldn’t hurt either. ;P
Im not gonna be the angry crying girl here,cuz im actually from Kazakhstan,but(!!!) those who did this got 0% working brain and for a second we r talking bout the ppl who somehow rule the country;))))
But its ok though.95% of the ppl in kazakhstan dont know where q8 is
neither do 95% of Kuwaiti’s know where Kazakhstan is
seriously though, I do believe an apology is in order.
and the person responsible for this should face penalties for embarrassing Kuwait and disrespecting Kazakhstan.

I really hope deep inside it was an honest mistake.but a mistake like that….hm…cmon,just spend 5 sec of ur time and find our anthem even on youtube.its not so hard,ha?and i def know where q8 is cuz i live here
And yeah..cherry,check again,cuz 500bill got no q8 towers on it.the front pic got the min of finace,the back pic got the map of kazakhstan.who was talking here about sm brain or smth?;)))

It’s not Kuwait Towers on 500 bill,It’s the towers in Astana(capital of Kazakhstan) next to Congress Hall.
Not only did they get the Kazakh anthem completely wrong (English anyone? What National anthem do you know extolls “Prostitutes as the cleanest in the Region” as part of its lyrics), they also managed to get the Serbian anthem wrong…
What about Serbian one?
