This young fellow at the Avenues found a sentimental way to express his own fear from the recent numerous stabbing crimes happening in Kuwait, he was actually sporting a t-shirt with “Don’t kill me..my family wants me” printed on. I guess I’ll make a similar t-shirt and wear it every time I’m going to the Avenues.
Personally I did not like it. I think it’s joking about something very serious.
I partially agree if the purpose of this was making fun then yes I’m against it but possible he was trying to convey a message that many failed to deliver.

Your wrong. If you put “Wants” then you have to describe specifically what they want from the person being named.
Therefore since there is no description or extension to the sentence. You just put “want”.

His grammar is correct too. Family is collective noun and can either be singular or plural dependng on how want to use it.

lol, i recommend the book GRAMMAR AND COMPOSITION published by Prentice Hall. It is a very good book in learning the rules of grammar. I like it so much. try to find this book and i guarantee you, you dont need a Teacher to explain the contents. It’s very self explanatory. Enjoy….. Cheers guys
