After the disappearance back in 1997, the 80′s most loved fast food restaurant, HUNGRY BUNNY, is back to Kuwait. 
I’m sure many of you, especially the 70′s and early 80′s generations are familiar with HUNGRY BUNNY, but I’ll tell the brief story for the newer generations.
HUNGRY BUNNY is a Kuwaiti invented concept by Al Homaizi FoodStuff as a replacement for Burger King, there were over 50 branches back then, but when Al Homaizi FoodStuff got the franchise of Burger King in 1997, the HUNGRY BUNNY was closed down because its almost identical to Burger King.
I still remember I sued to go to the last branch in Salwa to enjoy it, the only branch that was left is the one in Khafji (Not the one from Al Homaizi FoodStuff) . Many fake HUNGRY BUNNY restaurants were opened with slightly different names.
Yesterday, I read on our friend blog Trendygirl87, that she spotted HUNGRY BUNNY in Jahra city but was unsure if its the original one. Guess what ? Myself and my friend went on a mission all the way to Al Jahra to investigate.
We asked many people there, we looked everywhere and we were about to lose our hope, we found it. It was opened two weeks ago, and first thing I asked their supervisor “Is it the real one?” and he assured its the original HUNGRY BUNNY.
They had cool menu and tasty food too. I mean just sitting there took me 20 years back ! We ordered the HB Jumbo, french fries, chicken nuggets and onion rings for Suhoor.
We enjoyed the taste and the chilhood nostalgia. I know you are still suspicious like myself, but if they are not real they can’t use the same name and logo, I’ll also try to confirm from Al Homaizi FoodStuff. They said they will open other branches in Kuwait.

Just saw it, first thing I did was to ask if this one was original, and they assured its the real one.
Also the logo and name are registered trademarks so its illegal to use them without permission

I had this on my mind, its just that I had urgent circumstances and I had to leave fast…I didn’t even ask their manager for phone number..but the location was AL-Jahra at Al Nasser Mall opposite to the main central.

XD Thanks brother yeah we almost lost hope for finding it and we were about to abandon our mission, we were asking everyone we see at the traffic lights and on feet, and when we finally did it felt so good and nostalgic.
The manager was laughing at us and how we took pictures of everything.

I’m 1988′s generation but I also remember that We all was sad because of converting all HB branches into BK .. I was a 9 years old kid

يا جماعة انتوا فاهمين غلط هذا الأرنب الجائع مال السعودية مو مال الحميضي اللي كان أكله لذيذ وحتى مال الحميضي كان وكالة محلية مو امريكية وأهم ماراح يفتحونه مرة ثانية لأن عندهم برجر كنج وفي شرط بينهم.
