Today we decided to try the new branch of Cafe Meem at Hamra Mall for brunch, it was opened a few days ago. We arrived there at the afternoon and it was a relief escaping the burning sun to a cool quiet place.

There are two other branches at the Avenues and 360 Mall, but this new branch is bigger and new menu was also launched. I noticed the cafe has a Lebanese theme and “Meem” refers to a little girl’s name.

 There was an indoor and outdoor seating areas, I liked the design theme and table setting. I saw the menu was diversified and includes many Lebanese dishes.

Starters; Tabouleh, Fatosh, Mutabal, and stuffed grape leaves (All tasted good).

Main course; We wanted something light so we ordered chicken Shawerma (tasted fine). Finally for sweets we tried their fruits pancake (good but was slightly dry).

The prices were reasonable but some prices need a little improvement, level of service was great. So if you are bored of western-styled cafe’s and want a modern alternative then cafe Meem is the place to be.
