Chili’s has slightly reduced their prices in their newly launched menu, personally I stopped going to Chili’s since I compared their prices in Kuwait with Dubai and found that Kuwait prices are a lot higher back in March 2012 [link]. My usual order is Boneless Buffalo Wings, Margarita Grilled Chicken, and Soda; sub-total was KD10.750 ,now it’s KD10 roughly, that’s about KD 0.750 less.
I guess they realized their prices needed to be improved, hope to see even lower prices.
Note: I have only checked my usual plate prices, I have no idea about the other plates but restaurant supervisor said that prices were generally reduced.

وتخفيضهم للاسعار يفشل ولكن يحاولون يسكرون الخسائر مع طمع ونهايتهم يسكرون
انا مع المقاطعه لحد الحين لين يرخصون زيادة
المطعم كله بالنسبه لي : تكساس فرايز
لما يردون 3 دنانير يصير خير
وباقي اكلهم فاشل

أنا شخصياً و رغم تفضيلي السابق لتشيليز لكنني لم أدخله منذ ما يقارب السنة و نصف او السنتين ,, لا أذكر بالتحديد

و بالتأكيد السبب هو زيادة الأسعار غير المبررة على الإطلاق
أسعاره زادت مرتين أو اكثر في فترة قصيرة
و أعلم بأن مطعم كتشيليز لن يغلق أبوابه بسببي أو يطلب مني العودة له لكن القضية هي قضية مبدأ
و بصراحة لم أكن أتوقع أن هناك غيري يقاطع عند غلاء الأسعار ,, لكن بعد قراءة بعض الردود شعرت بارتياح
انا شخصيا قاطعت شيليز من شهر 3 بعد ما شفت ان الاسعار بالكويت اعلى من دبي بكثير, رغم اني احب بعض الوجبات عندهم وكنت اتمنا انهم يعيدون النظر في تسعيرهم.

only thing i like in chilis is their chicken fried steak, and that went from like 4kd to 6.5 or something, dnt remember, i did walk in, saw the prices and walked out cause their food isnt worth the money i pay
They increased their prices drastically, Kuwait is abundant with restaurants I guess that should make restaurants reduce their prices not the opposite.
I’ve been boycotting Chilli’s for over a year because of their rip-off prices!!! In Kuwait, customers don’t know the amount of power they have until they try it. It’s called boycotting! Most food franchises in Kuwait are more expensive than other GCC countries. Why? Because they know we will come back and literally hand them our money for their average food. This excellent post (and comments above) shows you the effect of the costumer boycott to overpriced and overhyped restaurants. I still think that 10 KD for your order is way too much, Taz. I’ll boycott them till they drop their double digits!
Remember, guys! Costumers have the power, not the restaurants. If they raise their prices and you keep going to them, then it’s your fault, not theirs. They see you as a clueless costumer who needs to thin out his/her wallet. It’s your choice. This applies to the overhyped Kuwaiti-owned restaurants and cafés
Well said, one could use his 10 KD in a much more efficient way, than spend it all on an average meal that would only leave you feeling uneasy and guilty because you left them rip you off..
