I’m now at the Avenues Phase III and I saw that both The Prestige and Souk districts were opened, I took a quick stroll around The Prestige and fellas don’t tell your ladies about it because they will surely make your wallets super slim especially when they see the largest Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana and Dior boutiques in the Middle East. The Prestige is built on two levels and there were several first-time high-end brands in Kuwait in addition to some cafe’s, the part that I liked most was the luxurious material used in finishing works and the color changing dome and fountain in the center, also boutiques designs were catchy, it somehow reminds me of the luxury zone in Dubai Mall. Some of the boutiques and cafe’s that I saw include;
Louis Vuitton
Dolce & Gabbana
Dio
Chanel
Chopard
Emporio Armani Caffe
Versace
FENDI
TOM FORD
MIU MIU
PRADA
HUBLOT
Ralph Lauren
Max Mara
Jimmy Choo
TOD’S
Fauchon Paris Le Café
Burberry
ESCADA
Harry Winston

The Souk District was also opened today and as expected it resembles the design of Mubarkia souk with small lanes and traditional shops scattered around. Like I said before that my remark is that the lanes were very narrow, so I guess it will be hard for shoppers to move around at peak hours.

As usual guys nice coverage will check it out tonight inshallah.
Thanks in behalf of El Toro
Great !
amazing coverage guys
Thanks QABAQ.
At least one store from the list I can confirm that its not open YET. “ Burberry”. I was in their marina branch yesterday to check an Item and asked the manager if the Avenues branch is open and he said No. probably will be opened on January and not earlier. I was supprised that he didnt know the exact date of opening.
Yes I believe it’s not opened yet, there are some boutiques that are not yet opened like Armani Cafe, MIU MIU, PRADA, Burberry but I suspect they will open in the upcoming months, trust me many marketing managers who work for big brands in Kuwait gave me inaccurate opening dates
This is great news (poor Hayati) hehe! I just hope Salhiya still has enough business to remain open. It’s the oldest mall in Kuwait and my favorite place to shop with my prince. Thanks for always keeping us informed.
Yes I was wondering about the same, now we have Al Hamra, Al Salhiya, 360 Mall and The Prestige and they are all stuffed with luxurious boutiques.

Poor Salhiya! It will need to re-invent itself some more and fast. Maybe a Graff, an Asprey and Harry Winston store would come in handy to infuse new life into an ageing Salhiya.
That said, I still maintain Salhiya is the classiest of luxury centres in Kwt by a long shot: maybe it’s something about the scent of Salhiya. The aroma from the International Mill for one is something else- borderline erotic, even.
Apparently, rumours are rife there is to be a public screening of the English feature film- ‘The Prestige,’ at the Prestige District to mark the opening of the Prestige @ the Avenues.
