Kuwait is abundant with three things; restaurants, exhibitions, and blogs. I guess having more blogs is great because they really entertain and bring lots of news and opinions but I’m not discussing blogs here, I’m talking about expos. I got you a list of all the consumer and special exhibitions that will be organized at Kuwait International Fair for year 2013, so whether it’s food, fashion, perfumes, watches, computers, smartphones, outlet… etc. I’m sure you will find it listed. If you know about more expos that are not listed please let me know.
No International Motor show this year too?

This does bring an interesting point up though – I think the Kuwait International Fairgrounds have a lot of potential to be turned into a global exhibition center. Imagine if the owners/government demolished the current facilities [rather than renovate/reclad the current buildings with cheap aluminum panels] and rebuilt them to international standards with larger, more modern halls and added more greenery/water features to the ground and even a convention hotel – I think the venue would be a source of national pride and would attract more local and even international events. Definitely something to think about.
Solid idea! Yes indeed it will be one major tourist attraction in Kuwait, I was thinking to actually post about this before because like you said Khaled the place has a big potential.
