I was reading this recent report made by International Monetary Fund which states that Kuwait is now considered the world’s most oil dependent country where 95% of Kuwait’s revenues come from oil, bad news.
The sad thing is that we were less oil dependent in the past but dependency increased over years and I can’t tell why? Oil prices could drop any moment and oil reserves can also deplete, what are our options?

duh, like we need Foreign reports to know that.
You’re right but what I didn’t know that we were ranked the highest in the world.
Elmoshkila bo chethi. El moshkila 3indina kil el emkanat ile etkhalena ni3timid 3ala ma9dar thani, bs beroqra6iyat il ejra2at wa3tha2 majlis il oma ile kil cham youm emqadmeen estijwab o fat7een mawatheen nafs il ziyadat wel tanmiya akher hamhom. To me, these are the two main reasons Kuwait is falling behind.
You brought really important issue to the surface, I don’t want to get into politics but yes the current political clashes and endless debate are major culprit that’s holding us back from true development, hence less oil dependency!
This is sad, really sad. WAllah 7aram, Kuwait has lots of potential to be on the top. I agree with (me) ^ ! Majlis Il Uma is doing nothing, My opinion is to cancel Majlis Il Uma since its doing harm more than good and depend on new creative kuwaiti minds that actually want Kuwait to be on the top.

The million dollar question: What happens when it runs out?
Hopefully we can have an answer to this question before it does.
OMG!
I don’t know much about business, but I think Kuwait is beautiful and has nice shopping malls and enjoynment facilities. Think what the people like and offer to them. Car shows, entertainment, tourism, education, attract people by their needs.
