I got my hands on the new DSLR Nikon, D3200, that arrived to Kuwait a few weeks ago. I heard it’s very competitive especially that it has some cool features such as 24-megapixel APS-C sensor, 4fps continuous shooting, Wi-Fi support (allows transferring High-res pictures), and HD video quality for a fair price. D3200 is also Nikon’s 2nd high highest-resolution DSLR after the 36-megapixel D800.
I opened the box to see that it comes with a charger, CD manual, Battery, USB cable, 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR lenses, and nice Nikon strap but no SD card, though ABB stores gave me a 4GB SD free of charge. As I held the camera, the weight and size were almost similar to my present Canon 600D.
I switched on the camera to see that it has a sharp LCD display, another thing I observed is the dedicated movie recording button at the back which with single press allows 1080p (30 frames a second) or 720p (60 fps) movie recording for 20 minutes with clear audio quality (thanks to external mic).
The shooting speed was also fast, and pictures looked sharper (but bigger in size) than my present Canon 600D. Its available in Kuwait at AAB stores (Shamiya Co-op) for KD275 , I remember I got my Canon 600D for KD330.
Verdict: I find Nikon D3200 a smart choice for those who seek high-resolution DSLR camera with good price.

I was considering a DSLR camera, should I go for this one or Canon 650D?
650D is much more better ,even than most of the present cams .. and for around same price
I heard Canon 650D is about KD290, any cheaper price?
well am not sure i didn’t check in Kuwait , but last month i were in us , it was cheaper than 290 as i recall
yet i don’t recommend upgrading to 650D if u have the one of the other series like 550 or 600 .. if u still aiming for crop go for 60d or 7d they are still better choices than XXXD DLSRs

Yes it was kinda heavy and size was almost like Canon cameras, I think your decision should be between Nikon D3200 and new Canon 650D because I heard its great one too.
if you have a Canon 600d then buying a Nikon 3200 is considered a downgrade!!! Only beginners and novice thinks more pixels are better!
The D3200 is not my camera, I’m just testing it right now.
