Just like kids, sometimes the adult mind wonders about many things. We often always have a different perception of how things are really done but in reality, our perception is almost always wrong. Take the Kitco bag that I found with two crumbs inside, all I see in a chips pack is the chips and the pack. Did you know that this one pack of potato chips which costs 50 fils in the baqala, takes quite an amount of time to make and we buy it for nothing and consume it within seconds? Kitco factory gave me the chance to see what goes on behind the scenes and I wanted to share it with all of you because maybe then, we will start looking at things way differently. I was in for a nice surpirse when I found out that Chiquita Fruit Bar opened up at the The Souq in the Avenues last night. The opening was really nice as they had a live band playing some cool jazz tunes with plenty of samples to go around. The fruit juices are simply divine, and the ice cream definitely makes you want to go back for more. The ice cream is made from 100% natural ingredients used from daily fresh fruits, with no sugar! The sweetner they use is organic agave which, for me, made the taste ten times better than any ice cream I’ve ever had.
The juices are all fresly made right in front of you and they have so many options to chose from! I would recommend this place for any diabetic who can’t enjoy the usual sugary ice creams that we enjoy or for anyone who’s a fruit juice lover. I’m heading there right now, that baby cocount is calling out to me!

The cafe from Paris, Fauchon, has opened their branch at The Prestige District at the Avenues Phase III yesterday, I’m a big fan of their sweets and biscuits. This one is bigger than the one at 360 Mall, it’s located almost opposite to Burberry Boutique. Speaking of French cafe’s, I also spotted Laduree opening a 2nd brancc at the 1st floor sometime soon.

One of my chocolate restaurants in Kuwait, Life With Cacao, has opened their new branch at the Grand Avenue in Avenues Phase III just next to COS store. They serve a wide variety of fine chocolate and deserts plus food dishes, this branch is bigger than the one in 360 Mall with outdoor and indoor seating areas.

The Camel Milk Chocolate shop Al Nassma I was telling you about was just opened at The Avenues at The Souk District, as I said it tastes good and costs around KD2 for one piece. If you have no issue paying KD2 then go for it otherwise stick to Time Out or Maltesers.
