Superstar Ragheb Alama began the first journey of his new fragrance Le Grand Amour in Kuwait today. A number of press and bloggers were invited to the Sheraton to attend the press release for this very alluring fragrance, which was then followed by a lunch with amazing food.
The women’s perfume named Le Grand Amour of big love, (El Hob El Kibeer, like his famous song), has a very rich aroma that is keen to make anyone who gets a wiff of it fall in love instantly! This fragrance was made for the everyday woman who wants to be attractive without trying to hard. The smell isn’t overpowering but it’s just enough to get attention! I absolutely adored it the second I tried it.
I loved Ragheb! He was so down to earth and funny that it showed why he’s been so successful throughout the years. I, of course, was fan girling. He does so much to give back to everyone who looks up to him, including building schools for the less fortunate and all his efforts with UNESCO. Everyone attending got a bottle of his new fragrance which I personally will cherish forever and ever.
With valentines in a couple of days, boys, go out and buy a bottle for your lover (or your mommy, I know I will!). I guarantee you she will be head over heels in love with this gift!
I am probably the biggest fan of Discovery Mall, and I am absolutely THRILLED that Play Study Zone is now offering jazz classes to kids aged 3-14.
Play Study Zone is a company where you can offer your kids ballet classes, hip-hop lessons, karate, art, and now even jazz dance classes.
Make sure to sign your little ones up for this fun filled event!
There’s nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable in your own skin. I don’t think people realize how much words hurt. I was scrolling through the internet and found some pretty horrible comments on so many YouTube channels and all the suicides happening because of cyber bullying.
I’m sure it’s super fun to make fun of someone and make them feel like they’ll never amount to anything. There are many movements celebrities participating in anti-bullying events. Noh8 is probably the most known one, but Nick Cannon has gained much respect for a song he released called Die Young. The video is so moving and I’m sure everyone can relate to it; we’ve all been called names and no matter how much we try and brush it off, words hurt.
Anyway, here’s the song. Love each other, guys. We all have insecurities and are fighting to get through everyday.
We’ve all dreamed of being on MTV as a part of a hip-hop band or dancing back up for JLO, but these local talent have made it their goal to be something huge, and they’re amazing!
I don’t know how many of you have heard of Sons of Yusuf, but I’m obsessed! I have their CD blasting in my car all day, everyday.
Who are some other amazing local talents? Post blogs and URLs for us to check out!
With that said, here’s an amazing tune for all of you to enjoy!

I never knew the popular vocal group back in the 70s (AKA Boney M) have ever visited Kuwait before! Those who never heard of Boney M, it’s a vocal group created by German record producer Frank Farian. Originally based in West Germany and consists of 4 original members. They were world popular and sold more than 150 million albums.
I can see on the ticket shown above that they performed the songs Ma Baker, Belfast, Sunny and ”The Black Beauty Circus” in Kuwait back in the year 1978 at Al Andalus theater (currently Al Mohalab Mall in Hawally). It’s interesting how Kuwait was culturally “open” back then, while nowadays it’s a lot more restricted.
