I came across this cool dance video on YouTube that was shot at various locations throughout Kuwait. I think the dancer is known as Doss, this dude really knows how to make great moves, I wish I had 1/4 of his flexing skills. My favorite part starts at 2:10, the background music is also cool. What do you think?
Our friend Buzfairy posted this melody which is presumably the new modified melody for Kuwait National Anthem, I remember reading news about Ministry of Information intention to modify the current melody for Kuwait National Anthem and produce a new one in Russia using 120 orchestra players and release it on the national day but I’m not sure if this is the one.
Anyhow, if this is indeed the new melody then my ears find it more appealing than the older one, it kinda has a military tone/feeling in it. What do you think?
It has been a while since I posted amazing timelapse video, our friend Jassim has painstakingly worked for 5 continues months to produce this nice almost-3-minutes long timelapse video titled “Day in Kuwait”. Jassim used Canon EOS 60D, Canon 18-13, and Sigma 10-20 for the production.

I was walking down the street today and found that HMV is located 2 minutes away from my hotel. I like HMV and always visit it when ever I’m in London because their prices are cheaper than Virgin Megastore plus they run great sales. I overheard rumors before that HMV was shutting down and will probably become an online store but I wasn’t sure about that, sadly the rumors seem true because store manager told me today that more than 60 branches have already closed down and there will be more closing because their sales are dropping. I think this is because most people have turned to online music stores in recent years, plus the piracy of course. I always wished that they bring HMV to Kuwait but I guess this ain’t going to happen, and even if they do it will probably end up like Virgin at Marina Mall.
Big D, the rapper from Kuwait, has just shared with us his latest music video for his new song title “Matrix”. The theme kinda reminds me of the movie Matrix and Manga Cartoon.
I just came across this hilarious video for presumably grandfathers in Kuwait dancing Gangnam Style way on the Valentine’s Day, I musy say I’m quite impressed with their dancing skills despite their age. Do you agree with me when I say Gangnam Style is one of the most viral things ever happened?

Did you guys hear about this Internet Radio based in Kuwait named OFW RADIO? They broadcast 24/7 from the oldies to the latest variety of music. I received an email from U.S Embassy in Kuwait to inform me that famous jazz band from New York City, The Chris Byars, is coming to Kuwait and will have a jazz night at Kuwait National Museum on Tuesday. This is cool I’m huge fan of jazz music, I remember The Chris Byars band came to Kuwait in 2011 and performed in 360 Mall [link]. Yes before I forget the admission is free so feel comfortable to bring along your friends and loved ones.

Recall my post about the two Kuwaiti artists, brothers Ya’koob & Humble Abdul which are also known as Sons Of Yusuf? They are organizing a charitable event on January 11th where they will be performing live (Arabs in Paris & other songs) featuring Army Of One and Skywalker. Tickets are on sale now and must be purchased in advance in order to be on the invitation list. I certainly would love to see them performing the song Arabs in Paris live on stage.

The two Kuwaiti artists, brothers Ya’koob & Humble Abdul also known as Sons Of Yusuf has released their new music album under the name “2 Of Arabia’s Most Wanted” which is now available for download totally free. I just downloaded the whole album for free from their website and it got 19 songs, I’m liking the album cover and their song “Arabs in Paris”, it’s fun to listen to while cruising in this cool weather.
