Disney’s No.1 animated movie of all time is coming to Kuwait theaters in two weeks from now. I recall it was one of my favorite cartoons ever back in 1994, and adding the magic word “3D” made it stand at the top of the US box office charts.
Its arriving to Kuwait theaters on the 13th of October, sounds like a good family movie, can’t wait !
Ever wondered how it feels inside the real cockpit for Kuwait Airways flights? I saw this DVD movie for Kuwait Airways flights from the captain’s perspective, the movie includes a flight to London, Geneva, Beirut, and Jeddah for Boeing 777-200 and Airbus 340-300 planes.
Kuwait Airways was one of the best and safest airlines in the region. The double disc movie is available at Kuwait Flight Simulation Center for 14 K.D.
Over 25 years have passed and I still recall how all kids gathered in the A.M to watch the amazing space adventure cartoon “Grendizer“ created by the Japanese artist Go Nagai. One of the things I loved about Grendizer is the theme song and the voices, and I always wondered whose voice is that, and after 25+ years I got the answer !
His name is Sammy Clark, very well-known Lebanese singer and famous for his golden voice and successful music history. A friend of mine sent me a video of Sammy Clark being interviewed on Al Hurra TV channel and singing Grendizer theme song and that alone brought back a bunch of lovely memories.
He sang for other cartoon themes such as Jazeerat El Kanz and others. He has a nice facebook page and a website too.

Saw it late last night, luckily theater was almost empty so I could focus. The story is simple, a spaceship arrives in Arizona, 1873, to take over the Earth, starting with the Wild West region, and cowboys and natives stand in their way.
The Sci-Fi movie mixes “kinda stupid” aliens with cowboys, the cast included Indiana Jones’s star Harrison Ford and James Bond’s star Daniel Craig. The cool thing is the action part, but censorship was mean too, Cinescape are showing it on IMAX 2D, but its not necessary at all so save on the extra K.D and watch it on normal screen.
