ذهبت ليلة أمس الاول لمشاهدة الجزء الثالث والمنتظر لدى الكثيرين فلم الشخصيات الخارقة “آيرون مان 3″ او كما نطلق عليه “الرجل الحديدي” في سينما مرينا مول في تمام الساعه 10:30 مساء. نعم احب ان احضر لمشاهدة هذه النوعيات من الافلام في اول عروضها لاتمكن من الاستمتاع بها قبل امتلاء صالات العرض في عطلة نهاية الاسبوع. حسنا كما نعلم ان سلسلة الرجل الحديدي قد حققت نجاحا كبيرا وارباحا قياسية في اول جزئيين لها واستمر هذا النجاح في الفلم الذي جمع الشخصيات الخارقة “ذي افينجرز” ولكن كما نعلم ان كلما زادت الاجزاء لأي فلم “ناجح” اصبحت المحافظة على هذا المستوى اكثر صعوبة لان النجاح برأيي يتطلب الخروج عن العادة بشئ جديد كليا يدهش المشاهد. ا

شخصيا ذهبت لمشاهدة الفلم من دون مشاهدة دعاية الفلم “تريلر” كي لا اكون انطباعا عن الفلم وبالتالي قد تكون توقعاتي كبيرة وبالتالي قد تخيب آمالي بعد ذلك. حسنا عليى الاعتراف ان الفلم كان بالفعل مدهشا من ناحية الرسوميات بالاضافة لحس الفكاهة الذي احسن المخرج استخدامه لاضافة لمسات من كوميديا الموقف ولكن شعرت ان هذا الجزء لم يأتي بشئ جديد ومختلف يميزه عن الاجزاء السابقة بل اعتبره الكثيرين خطوة للوراء. القصة كانت بسيطة جدا ولم تكن بها حبكة وكانت الكثير من الاحداث متوقعة وظهر الرجل الحديدي ضعيفا وكانت فكرة العدوا “ماندرين” تفتقر للابداع برأيي. كذلك غابت النجمة الشقراء الممثلة “سكارلت جوهانسون” والنجم “سامويل جاكسون” في هذا الجزء ولم تبين الاحداث سبب غيابهما من ناحية القصة. نعم كان هناك الكثير من الاثارة والحركة ولكن كما قلت لم يكن هناك عنصر المفاجأة وكانت الاحداث متوقعة وغير مبهرة كما في الاجزاء السابقة, ولكن كما قلت تحقيق النجاح يصبح اكثر صعوبة بلا شك في كل جزء جديد, فقد يكون هذا الجزء ممتازا للاشخاص الذين لم يشاهدوا الجزئيين السابقيين. حصل الفلم على تقييم 7.9 في موقع الافلام الشهير “آي ام دي بي” والجدير بالذكر ان الفلم قد عرض بالكويت بليلة قبل الولايات المتحدة.ا
It’s been long time since I posted any Parkour (free-running) videos, yes by now I presume you all know that I’m officially a Parkour addict. Our fit friends PK Jaguars have shared with us their latest footage performing art of motion Al Sawaber Complex. This time the footage was created in association with TJC Films and the result is one exciting video that looks rather like a rap video or action movie.
I wish I could learn doing parkour myself that’s if I’m not considered old in age, but if I have the stamina and the needed flexibility (and the drive) I don’t see why not.
Spiderman protects New York City, Batman protects Gotham City and Shellman has finally come to protect Kuwait City. I’m fan of comics and always wanted to see a Kuwaiti based superhero comics. Shell Man is an upcoming Kuwaiti super hero Manga-like comics, it was thought and created by Dr. Abdul Razaq Jawhar and set to release shortly.
Though in order to have a successful superhero comics you need a strong story. Shellman parents were murdered and he was thrown into the sea as an infant, where he was then found and raised by a giant genetically-modified oyster. The shell have passed on the super genetics to Shellman and that gave him super powers, but as the case with other superheros he had one weakness; he can’t survive in the air for longer than 24 hours, that is.
So far I’m liking the story and the graphics look relatively decent but I’ll wait to see the movie to give my verdict. There will also be comics in both Arabic and English languages soon. Yes Kuwait desperately needs a superhero for the increasing crimes, numerous accidents and frequent fires, what do you say?
I am not really a big cinema buff, but every once in a while I like to go and watch a movie in the cinema as opposed to just getting the DVD or downloading it online. So, last night I went to see Olympus Has Fallen. I don’t want to ruin the movie for all those who didn’t get a chance to see it; so i’ll just give you a quick brief:
It tells the story of a secret service agent who accidentally let the First Lady die, he is then relieved of his duties and gets a desk job. When the White House is attacked and taken over by the North Koreans, he realizes he needs to redeem his self and save the President.
The storyline is pretty basic, as are all movies these days. The only thing I enjoyed was that the action was not over-exaggerated and Gerarld Butler and Aaron Eckhart played really good roles. Other than that, it was just like any other movie coming out these days. I feel that there hasn’t been a really decent movie in a while, one that is really worth watching.

I always dreamed that they bring Comics Convention (AKA Comic-Con) to Kuwait, and I got quite jealous when I knew they that they brought Comic-Con to Abu Dhabi back in 2011, there were rumors that Comic-Con is actually coming to Kuwait but rumors stayed rumors.

“It’s an event showcasing comic books, science fiction/fantasy and film/television, and related popular arts, the convention now includes a larger range of pop culture elements, such as horror, animation, anime, manga, toys, collectible card games, video games, webcomics, and fantasy novel.”
Enough said, I came to know through our friend Area965 that there’re going to organize a Comic-Con-like event so-called Q8Con next summer in Kuwait. The organizers promise a fun event that attracts fans of Anime, Manga, Games and Comics. The activities include video game tournaments, cosplays, performances, artist-fan meetups and various such things and that a lot of artists, performers, producers, writers, media-personnel, artists and game designers from various parts of the world particularly the GCC. This is a first-time thing in Kuwait, hope it turns out fun.
