We brought to you news about Sylvestor Stallone coming soon to Kuwait for the “PLANET HOLLYWOOD” opening event before. Well, today we exclusively bring you his programme in Kuwait, Shhh don’t tell anyone

Sylvestor Stallone will arrive to Kuwait airport in the evening from Los angeles in a private jet on the 23th of March, where he will be picked by a luxurious Escalade Cadillac limo to the 5-Star hotel.

The event will start in the evening of the following day with live broadcast from Alwatan TV, Marina FM and press conference at 4:00 pm till 6:00 pm.

Then the grand opening will start in the evening where red carpets will pave the way to PLANET HOLLYWOOD, and special lighting effects and fans will get autographs and souviners There will also be live interview with Mr. Stallone.

The opening cermony will start at 6:30 with a lighting system around PLANET HOLLYWOOD to attract the crowd where guests will proceed to the basement of OLYMPIA complex by cutting the ribbon and the celebrations will be from dusk to dawn There will be stage, trussing systtem and live DJ with background music.

While I was driving on Gulf road toward Salmiyah, I noticed the newly constructed seaside Hotel Missoni, the building looked fabulous on the outside covering almost 12.000 sq.m, and its even more elegant on the inside. The place is famous for its shopping malls, restaurant & entertainment venue.

I loved how the interior design & decorations such as the lounge, lobby, beds, sofas, curtains & tables were luxuriously designed with fancy colors

The Missoni hotel is ranked as a 5-Star hotel, and due to officially open today, I found that the reservation is available at booking websites. I find it as a perfect spot for a week end break, wedding party, spa or even place for romantic dinner. The prices varied between 127 K.D for the double or twin room, and climbs to 254 K.D for the suite.

My friend sent us photos of weapons exhibition made at Marina Mall crescent showing different types of missiles & guns. I love to learn more about weapons so I’ll pay this exhibition a visit tomorrow

Though I wish they make an Air Force exhibition where I can see the Apache, longbow, F-16-, F-18 & other air force defense, that would be really great !

As Tazmania is out of the country covering amazing places in Abu Dhabi, today i went to Kuwait Automobile & Accessories Exhibition in Kuwait International Fair Ground in Abdullah Al Mubarak  (West Mishrif), the event started yesterday 12th Dec until Saturday 18th Dec, the exhibition was great and well organized in 4 halls, however, i noticed many big car brands did not participate. but what i really liked was the new concept & old classic cars! I recommend everybody to take a look on the exhibition!

everybody knows the legendary Shelby car from Bad Boys I

Ford didn’t forget about the next generation drivers by giving them the chance to race in the old racing Track! i used to love it when i was a Kid

everybody was amazed by BMW futuristic Concept car!

Combined with Russian folk musicians, acrobats & ornate costumes, the Moscow Circus will perform a mix of drama, cultural history, & awesome acrobatic acts that will even add more excitement to the event.

The performances will take place in Kuwait Entertainment City – Doha on Nov 25 & 26, 2010.

Today I went to the newly opened “Historical, Vintage & Classic Cars Museum” at Shuwaikh area, I can say that after the visit I found that I have love for antiques, the museum has turned the clock & took me back into the Kuwait’s paste.

The classic cars looked very beautiful & authentic. The idea of the museum is to show the world the history of Kuwait & to connect the the past with the present & the future.

There are several goals for which the museum was opened & that includes the preserve of Kuwait’s past with respect to the cars, culture, & tourism for such an important & high-valued era. It also aims to attract the young generations & also to participate in many national occasions.

Beside the enjoyable time, I learnt many new stuff about classic cars manufactures & standards that were used at that time. Also  the decorations were exquisite, I was so curious to see what was behind the gate

Having spoken to the guide I came to know that the museum also provides the maintenance & spare parts for classic cars  & that they’ll establish an information center for members & amateurs. Below is a classic police bike that was used by old Kuwait’s police

 The management also intends to make yearly exhibitions for classic cars. Inside, there was one corner with many photos about cars history in Kuwait.

While in the opposite corner there were small models for classic cars, too bad they are not for sale Just beside the entrance there was this little BMW, I was astonished, it was just so small & cute. I guess it was the mini-cooper of the past & yeah it also surprises me that they were able to make such a car back then.

Now I will leave you with more photos & yes I have also shot a video footage so you can enjoy as much as I did, well almost but I would highly recommend you to pay a visit to the museum & before I forget check out the Porsche below, it still somehow looks like the moderm Porsche

Today i went to Kubbar for Scuba Diving with my friends, on our way to Kubbar i noticed couple of small to medium dead fishes floating on the sea. but my shock was when we passed by this dead Dolphin! I Don’t know what reason caused him to die, but i was so sad to see a Kuwaiti Dolphin which our ancestors used to call it “Duqs” dead and floating!

is it pollution, red tide or nuclear leak from Bu shahar! Hope not! :P

قمت بجولة سريعة في سوق لولو هايبر ماركت الجديد في "أسواق القرين" ويجب أن اعترف انه فاق توقعاتي مع العلم اني لم اذهب لفرع شويخ سابقا. بالبداية اعجبتني الواجهة الخارجية البسيطة للمبنى مع التشطيبات الجميلة والاضاءات الساطعة خصوصا وقت المساء والتى ايضا سهلت علي الوصول إليه. لم اجد صعوبة في ركن سيارتي لأن كانت هناك مساحة كبيرة مقابلة للمبنى مخصصة للمواقف, ولكن كان من الافضل جعل مواقف السيارات من ضمن الهيكل الانشائي للمبنى, واتمنا من البلدية اشتراط على كل مجمع تجاري انشاء مبنى مواقف خاص.

كان السوق جميلا من الداخل وطريقة تصميمه مختلفه نوعا ما عن المجمعات التقليدية وكان التصميم من الداخل يشبه السفينة الشراعية "تعبيرا للهوية الكويتية", رغم ان الافتتاح كان بشكل جزئي وكثيرا من المحلات التجارية ما زالت غير مفتوحة الا اني لاحظت ان هناك العديد من الماركات المشهورة.

السوق عبارة عن سرداب وطابق ارضي وطابق اول وكان هناك سوق مركزي جميل على مساحة كبيرة يحتوي على معظم السلع التسويقية من ضمنها الاغذية والملابس والرياضية والكمالية والالكترونية والمكتبية. الاسعار كانت معقولة وتختلف حسب السلع. فكرة السلالم الآلية جيدة فهي تعمل فقط وقت الحاجة مما يوفر الطاقة. كذلك يوجد بالسرداب اكبر حوض اسماك داخل مجمع في الكويت. الجو العام للتسوق كان عائلي وممتع ولم الحظ المشاكل التى نراها بالمجمعات.
