I read news that Kuwaiti businessman Fawaz Al Hassawi, who’s also the chairman of Qadisia sport club, is bidding for the popular English football club Leeds United A.F.C, the word is that the deal is almost done.

I’m noticing that there’s a growing interest from GCC business men in investing in European football clubs, I think Manchester City was also bought by a Abu Dhabi. Read more here

I was setting my satellite TV channels and I saw that Sky News has just launched their Arabic channel, it will be broadcasting on 24 hours basis using HD technology. Watch it via Arabsat, frequency Badr 4, Transponder 15, and Nile Sat, frequency 201, transponder 14.

I watch Sky News when ever I’m in the U.K, its great to have it in Arabic.

I read on the CBS News that singer and actor Whitney Houston has passed away today at her hotel room in Beverly Hills, she was 48. Police are still investigating the causes, sadly she was on drugs for many years and was broken, I still recall her best movie ever “The Bodyguard” as it was yesterday, may she rest in peace.

I read on KUNA website that GCC Union has agreed to reduce the roaming charges among the gulf countries by more than 50% starting next week.

I recall they reduced it 30% last July, so now will will pay 20% of what we used to pay in the last years.

I’m sure you all spotted someone you know wearing these so-called Power Balance Bracelets since they are the latest trend in Kuwait. They are supposed to raise energy levels, but this is un-proven.

Some friends swear by them but I tried to wear one for sometime with no results, I guess guys only feel more energy because they are eating more sugar. I’m glad the company announced bankruptcy.

I saw this amazing shot for Dubai completely covered in fog on an Emirati blog, I also saw cool video for Sheikh Zayed road with fog everywhere.

I read the fog caused over 32 car accidents due to poor visibility, guess this is not the best time to go to Dubai, though the skyline is amazing.

So the debated and long anticipated celebrity, Kim Kardashian, has just arrived at Dubai DXB to launch the Millions of Milkshakes store in Dubai Mall.

I think there’s a Kim mania here in Kuwait, she has become every guy’s dream and countless girls copied her style and used her photos on their Facebook, BBM, What’sApp, WhosHere…etc

She’s Armenian if I’m not mistaken, I wonder how much money she makes in a month? She just bought a Ferrari Italia 458!
