While I was at Sharq Market this evening I noticed that they have made a graffiti competition for high school students aged 13-18. My idea of graffiti in Kuwait was bad, but after what I saw today I changed my mind

The participants were given an hour to make a graffiti & then based on votes the winners will be announced next Monday.

They were really talented & they all deserve to win if you ask me What I also enjoyed is the cool D.J who played really cool songs that made even the tiny kids dance

The competition is sponsored by Zain, G-FORCE & Ali Abdulwahab & Sons.

Today we went to “Hala February” carnaval at Salem Mubarak street in Salmiyah. The celebrations started at 1:00 pm & continued until 7:00 pm.

This was one of the best “Hala February” carnivals that we have seen. There were many participations from many countries such as Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, India.. etc.

The celebration also included competitions, prizes, vintage motor show, kids show, Karate show, Russian cirque, break dancing, classic bands & many things.

There were Kuwaiti celebrities too, the presenters were Mishari Al-Balam & Mishaal Al-Shaye’a. The carnival was mainly sponsored by Zain & Yousef Ahmed Al-ghanim.

We were invited today to Q8ivity exhibition at Sahara resort, we arrived there at 5:00pm, the exhibition started yesterday & will continue until tomorrow.

First thing I loved is the location, which was an open space with a fancy pool in the center. Its my first time in Sahara & I liked the place, I think Sahara has also Gulf Courses

Other thing I liked is the organization & diversity of participants. There were different things such as fashion, designs, photography, food, accessories.. etc.

“Elegant Table” also offered nice stuff from the brand “Canasuc” such as glasses & shakers brought from Paris

Today we had late lunch, or should I say early dinner, at Don Mario’s restaurant located in Dhiafa Village on Arabian Gulf street next to Aqua Park. Its my first time to try it out (Yeah I know its not new ) so I wanted to share my thoughts with you as we always do

I liked how the restaurant was piece & quiet (nice spot for romantic couple). It offers a mix of Italian-American dishes.

I liked how the restaurant embraces the mobster & gangster theme & decorations with Tommy gun hanging on the wall

They were really nice to give us on the house garlic-cheese pizza for starters, mix that with little olive oil & I assure that you’ll love it.

Their crispy mozzarella balls were seriously tasty too, the fresh taste gave us an indication of high-quality used ingredients.

Their mushroom is also one of the best that I’ve tasted coupled with a fresh lemon-mint juice

I was at the Avenues Mall today & have noticed that almost every shop has made sale up to 75%, then I recalled that its almost February I think now is about the best time for shopping in Kuwait, you could really save a lot.

I think I will change my shopping policy, why buy things when they are really expensive ! Sometimes I feel somehow upset when I know that things that I bought are now two third less than the price I got it at

The only thing about big sales is that usually you don’t find the right size especially if you’re looking for Medium or large, I wish shops could call the customer to tell him or her that we are making big sale soon so that when you could take full benefit of it

So back to my point, if you’ need to renew the stuff in your closet, then do it now
