I’m pretty sure that hard-gamers will love this news. The famous Japanese Street Fighter player Daigo “The Beast” Umehara will be coming to Kuwait at the end of September to fight against Kuwait’s best Marvel vs Capcom 3 (MvC3) and Street Fighter players at Freeze Club in 360 Mall.
I have checked his bio, this guy is like the best Street Fighter player of all time !
Freeze Club at 360 Mall will have a tournament for Super Street Fighter: Arcade Edition with cash prizes for winners. The tournament starts on the 15th of July at 6 PM.

The XD Theater is now opened at Marina Mall nearby the Cinescape cinema. The XD Theater gives a 6D motion ride experience and they have three new 3D movies showing.
The ticket price is 3 K.D per person. I think its a great place for family and kids.
We had an enjoyable visit to Kuwait Flight Simulation Center. I love aviation and I remember I wanted to be a pilot and this place made me really feel like one.
The center simply gets you the best flight simulation experience ! There are many planes to fly such as Boeing 737, Boeing 747, Boeing 777, Airbus Pro 320, Airbus 321, Airbus 330 among others.
There’s also the F-16, F-18, and a Helicopter and you can synchronize them to go on missions and dog-fights, interesting !
The center is designed to look like an airport with a comm. tower, nice ! I spoke with the manager Eng. Abdulmalik Al Mobaiedh about the center and asked if they offer real training:
“We offer realistic training and prepare you for the Private Pilot Licence (PPL). Our center is approved by the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA)” he said.
I noticed they give classes on aviation. I got inside the Airbus Pro 320 and it felt so realistic from the engine sounds to weather conditions, turbulence and engine failures too.
They also have a hobby-craft shop, Lounge Cafe, and a Pilot shop selling aviation hardware and software. I asked how much this cost and I was told that simulators booked at one hour intervals range from 10 to 35 K.D/hr
We paid a little visit to the Speed Expo at the Discovery Place in the Scientific center. The expo started today and will continue till 14th January, 2012.
I loved the Expo because it gives a great chance to learn scientific facts about motion, speed and physics in such an interactive and enjoyable way.
There are many interactive games for engines, motion, speed, magnetic force, pendulum, energy and even a plasma sphere.
If you want your kids to love physics, pay a little visit to the expo and let them enjoy and learn the real physics in such an enjoyable way !
