I always wanted to build a snowman in Kuwait but obviously this isn’t possible because we don’t get snow but merely hail. A friend of ours says he was able to build his own snowman (using his own snow of course) in Kuwait down in the South where sub-zero temperatures were recorded at dawn time, so I guess the snowman lasted for couple hours before defrosting. Last night was certainly one of the coldest nights ever, I felt like I’m freezing no matter what I wear.
I just checked the weather forecast for next 24 hours and it seems the cold wave will continue and we will experience sub-zero temperature again, so stay warm.
My buddy emailed me this short hilarious video for Kuwaiti deeply sleeping in Kuwait vs. Iraq match. Guess I can’t blame him since the first half of the game was kinda boring with poor performance, we really need to play better in the next game against Saudi Arabia if we ever want to qualify.
This young fellow at the Avenues found a sentimental way to express his own fear from the recent numerous stabbing crimes happening in Kuwait, he was actually sporting a t-shirt with “Don’t kill me..my family wants me” printed on. I guess I’ll make a similar t-shirt and wear it every time I’m going to the Avenues.
A blog reader says he spotted this Aqua Gulf billboard ad on the highway a few weeks ago, the ad translates as “Feeling hot?”, personally I’m freezing here! I think the ad was there since summer but they could have at least tried to modify it to be suitable for winter.
How many times have you seen car dancing? No seriously? Our friend Qabaq has sent us a video for classic lowriders swinging (or should I say dancing) at Shuwaikh beachfront, they actually seem they were dancing to the RAP music playing. I wonder how the hydraulic suspension of these cars work?
