Katsuya by Starck opening at the Avenues
Katsuya by Starck will open their first branch in Kuwait at the Avenues – 2nd Phase. It’s an American franchise restaurant serving Japanese cuisine. Have any of you tasted their food? Is it any good?

One of my chocolate restaurants in Kuwait, Life With Cacao, has opened their new branch at the Grand Avenue in Avenues Phase III just next to COS store. They serve a wide variety of fine chocolate and deserts plus food dishes, this branch is bigger than the one in 360 Mall with outdoor and indoor seating areas.

One of my highlights while at I Love Kuwait Expo was going past the cookielogy stand!
I’m sure you guys have heard about them and how they are supposed to be the Kings of cookies in town? Well, I was offered a few to try and taste and give feedback. I had a chocolate cup cake, a scone with nuts in it and a few cookies.
I initially thought it would be just another cookie business in town boosting to know what they are about but geez was I wrong. Every single one of their cookies, scone and cup cake was GREAT. I was skeptical about the scone since it had that sugery white powder on top but it turned out good.
The big question is will I be getting any more? Yes
Would I recommend it to anyone? Definitely
They are not called cookielogy just for games! They get a 5/5 from me.
The Camel Milk Chocolate shop Al Nassma I was telling you about was just opened at The Avenues at The Souk District, as I said it tastes good and costs around KD2 for one piece. If you have no issue paying KD2 then go for it otherwise stick to Time Out or Maltesers.

“Think what a better world it would be if we all, the whole world, had cookies and milk about three o’clock every afternoon and then lay down on our blankets for a nap.” – Barbara Jordan
I kept hearing about Ben’s Cookies and was waiting its arrival in Kuwait. The shop is located at Grand Avenues and I found it really classy due to its red and white décor. But I didn’t go there for the décor! The cookies are to-die-for!
I am not a big fan of sweets, but these cookies are just perfect. With their chewy interior, crunchy edges, and well blended flavors; you won’t be able to eat just one! Instead of going in to pick just one cookie and try it, I ended up buying a dozen and not sharing! I had one of each but my personal favorite was the “Ginger Dark Chocolate Chunk.”
I would definitely recommend for all sweet-tooth, cookie lovers to go try Ben’s cookies as it was by far, hands-down the best cookie I ever had in my life.
