Let’s talk about man purse’s or man bags or whatever it is you want to call it. I see a lot of guys around Kuwait carrying these little black, toiletry bag looking like purses. And it wasn’t until this morning that I noticed a lot of the guys I know own one and use it.
It’s funny because just a few years ago a majority of men would’ve laughed and scoffed at the idea of heterosexual men carrying a purse as part of his daily routine even though a few have been carrying sling bags for
So I asked some of my friends,what it is exactly that goes in there,turns out it works just like my feminine hand bag!
What do you guys think of this “trend”? If you are a guy; do you own one and is it more convenient for you?

Thursday evening I tracked down to the white marquee set up across the road from AUK campus for what was dubbed “Kuwait fashion Week 2013″. I love Kuwait Expo turned out to be just another expo far from what I had thought it would be considering the tag line ‘Kuwait Fashion Week 2013″. Obviously I didn’t expect an actual Fashion week type of thing but neither did I expect to find what I did.
I’ll give them credit that the fashion at this expo was actually pretty good,diverse, stylish and up-to-date. There were some other interesting stands at the expo like Cookiology, mini kitchen as well as a card game stand.

What is the 1st thing that come to your mind when you think of ECCO (The shoes and bags brand)? They are a well established brand with a strong background.
You may be in for a pleasant shock with their new collection which they unveiled yesterday at their Avenues Mall, Phase 2 branch! Yes, Ecco launched a marvellous line that is very different from what you and I probably preconceived them to be. Don’t get me wrong, they do have a market and they sell very good stuff but at 26 years old, I probably would have had difficulty buying from them until now.
The new Collection is is colorful (S/S 2013),young, and WILL appeal to a large number of younger consumers. For example, they have these guniune leather sneakers (I’m using the word sneakers loosely here) which I found to be very attractive and hip at the same time. To some it up, I will say they have just given us young people a reason to go and browse and buy from them!
I am very impressed, especially by their bag collection. There’s a wide range from Men’s to women’s foot wear. I will buy a pair of shoes from them and let you guys know how walking in Ecco is.

I was on my way to another event today when I noticed a buzz at G-Star Raw (Avenues Mall,Phase 2) so I checked it out. It turns out they were launching their New Men’s S/S 2013 collection.
The gist of it is they have reinvented certain lines adding tonal stitching which gives a cleaner look as opposed to the original edgy character. Underlining the importance of slim fits to this season’s men’s collection, a number of 3D denims now feature slim-line silhouettes for Spring/Summer 2013.

I’m at AlHamra Luxury Center now with some friends and spotted Bally opening, I’m a fan of their Men shoes collection because they look elegant and comfortable but not that much with their women collection. By the way I heard they are running discount at their Al Raya and 360 Mall boutiques.
