I took the kids yesterday to the new interactive expo at Kuwait Scientific Center, the idea of this expo is fairly unique where individuals of any age can play interactive games that are based on movement and physical effort to promote health and fitness. Some of the games included burning calories and muscles training in such an entertaining way, so it’s sort of a little gym with fun. Well I burned some calories of the chocolate fondue I ate earlier too.
In addition, kids can learn the laws of physics and motion, interesting. The expo is at the Discovery Place and will continue till March 2013.

I was informed by Basmatna Q8ya that their expo starts today at Kuwait International Fair in Mishref with over 53 businesses. I remember I visited their expo last year and saw fashion, food, accessories, drinks, and arts. Check my last year coverage here

If there’s one thing about Kuwait, then it’s certainly the expos. One of the expos that I like visiting before is the White Expo which brings numerous unique Kuwaiti entrepreneurs such as fashion, sweets, food, accessories… etc. under one roof. I remember I made coverage for White Expo when I started blogging back in 2010 and I’m planning for another visit this year.

I was having lunch with friends at 360 Mall and noticed there was on-going expo called Sukar Ramadan for sweets so I had a quick look, there were many sweet stores and confectioners such as Lazurd, Chocolate & Macaroon, Scoop A Cone, The November Bakery, Solo Churrus and others.
The organizers told me that there will be live shows for chefs from around the world, if you are into sweets and not on diet then this is expo is for you.

Kuwait is all about expos and fairs whether they’re fashion, food, small businesses, real estate, talents, public services related. On average there’s an expo almost every 1-2 weeks, a group of Kuwaitis has developed a dedicated iPhone/iPad/iPod app that covers most of the upcoming/ongoing expos in Kuwait. I spoke with the developers and asked them about the app, they said that they feed the application on continues basis to include all the major expos and their details such as contact numbers, date, duration, location, and offers.
I installed the app, its free and simple to use and quiet helpful, if you are looking for a particular expo you can use the search option to look it up, you can also add your selected expos to the favorite list so you will be reminded later. Generally I liked the concept idea but I wish they further develop the app to include more expos and categorize them.

One of the great expos that I like to visit is the DownTown Expo, its one of the best and biggest expos in Kuwait with regards to organization, diversity and number of participants. There sre everything from A to Z such as fashion, accessories, foods, sweets, talents, shows, photography.

I was at 360 Mall and noticed there was a recycling expo organized by young Kuwaitis who have responsibility toward environment, they were collecting old phones, CDs, and other obsolete electronics for recycling them, nice.
I’m noticing more recycling awareness campaigns in Kuwait in the withing the last couple years, this is great but we wish that government also build more recycling plants to Re-use more of the wastes (tires, house wastes..etc) rather than dumping them at the yards or burn them at landfills.
So if you have old phones or CDs that you wish to be recycled contact them.

I was at 360 Mall today in the moring and I saw that there’s an expo for home interior design, furniture, decoration, and accessories. I think its good for those who are looking to furnish their houses or apartments and want good offers.
