Have you guys heard about this whole new supercar so-called Lykan? Supposedly it’s the first ever Arabian Super Car in the world, and it happens to be the most expensive ever. Lykan was made by Lebanon, they say it has an enhanced Porsche engine that produces 751 horsepower and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in merely 2.8 secs and reach the astonishing top speed of 395 km/hr! This even beats the latest and fastest Ferrari, LaFerrar F70, that was recently unveiled at Geneva motorshow, superb.
Though this doesn’t come cheap since Lykan costs over 3.4 Million Dollar (One million Dinar roughly) making it the most expensive supercar ever made. I’m pretty sure that many of you “speed lovers” are now dying to see this supercar in real, right? The answer is yes you can and in Kuwait!

There was only one item I felt I could wear from there and its a polka dot tutu-like skirt.
Their accessories are really impressive however slightly above what an average shopper would want to spend,needless to say the collection,I gathered,is targeted at a specific clientele. The display is simply gorgeous carrying on the decor aura, I would just go back to sit inside and nothing else.

I always dreamed that they bring Comics Convention (AKA Comic-Con) to Kuwait, and I got quite jealous when I knew they that they brought Comic-Con to Abu Dhabi back in 2011, there were rumors that Comic-Con is actually coming to Kuwait but rumors stayed rumors.
Short brief about Comic-Con from uncle Wikipedia;
“It’s an event showcasing comic books, science fiction/fantasy and film/television, and related popular arts, the convention now includes a larger range of pop culture elements, such as horror, animation, anime, manga, toys, collectible card games, video games, webcomics, and fantasy novel.”
Enough said, I came to know through our friend Area965 that there’re going to organize a Comic-Con-like event so-called Q8Con next summer in Kuwait. The organizers promise a fun event that attracts fans of Anime, Manga, Games and Comics. The activities include video game tournaments, cosplays, performances, artist-fan meetups and various such things and that a lot of artists, performers, producers, writers, media-personnel, artists and game designers from various parts of the world particularly the GCC. This is a first-time thing in Kuwait, hope it turns out fun.

Thursday evening I tracked down to the white marquee set up across the road from AUK campus for what was dubbed “Kuwait fashion Week 2013″. I love Kuwait Expo turned out to be just another expo far from what I had thought it would be considering the tag line ‘Kuwait Fashion Week 2013″. Obviously I didn’t expect an actual Fashion week type of thing but neither did I expect to find what I did.
I’ll give them credit that the fashion at this expo was actually pretty good,diverse, stylish and up-to-date. There were some other interesting stands at the expo like Cookiology, mini kitchen as well as a card game stand.
A friend of mine who’s into motocross has informed that Jaber Al-Ahmad International Motocross Champion will kick-off tomorrow and that there will be international riders from all over the world competing. My friend also added that there are separated platforms and tents for families and bachelors. So if you liked the previous Red Bull X-Fighters Jams then I suppose you’ll enjoy this one, also it’s a great event for photo-shooters. So who’s going?
