I received great news that an amazing 3D projection mapping event will be organized on Kuwait National Day, the projection will be about Kuwait history the past and the present plus there will be fireworks and sky lanterns show. I think this is the first in Kuwait to have such an event, I’ll be there insha’allah.

شخصيا تعجبني افلام الرعب والاثارة كثيرا ولكن لم اشاهد اي افلام رعب ذات اخراج سينمائي جيد منذ فترة طويلة خصوصا ان موسم الصيف يكون عادة لافلام الخيال والقوى الخارقة.ا

ا

لاحظت ان خلال الشهر الجاري ستعرض العديد من افلام الرعب التى على ما يبدوا انها رائعة واولها فلم The Women in Black الذي تدور احداثه عن محامي شاب يزور قرية ريفية تحدث فيها اشياء غريبة ومخيفة, الفلم من بطولة دانييل راد كليف وسيعرض في الكويت بتاريخ 16 من هذا الشهر.ا

الفلم الثاني هو “ذا ديفيل انسايد” الذي يعرض حاليا بدور العرض في الكويت, شاهدت الفلم خلال عطلة نهاية الاسبوع وهو مشابه لفلم “بارانورمال آكتيفيتي” من حيث طريقة التصوير والمبدأ وتدور احداثه عن تلبس الجن والشياطين للبشر وطرد الارواح ورغم كل الانتقادات للفلم فقد شعرت بالرهبة عند مشاهدته ولا انصح به للاطفال.ا

 Are you ready for Kuwait RedBull Car Park Drift 2012? I attended last year’s event at Kuwait International Fair and was thrilled with those wild drifters and engines roars made my adrenaline flare-up.

I see that Cinescape will soon introduce Gift Vouchers, from my humble understanding is that they are similar to those vouchers that we buy for 6 K.D, for example, and give it to someone as a gift, so they can use it.

Sounds like a good idea but we’ll have to wait for more details.

Ever wondered how it feels inside the real cockpit for Kuwait Airways flights? I saw this DVD movie for Kuwait Airways flights from the captain’s perspective, the movie includes a flight to London, Geneva, Beirut, and Jeddah for Boeing 777-200 and Airbus 340-300 planes.

Kuwait Airways was one of the best and safest airlines in the region. The double disc movie is available at Kuwait Flight Simulation Center for 14 K.D.

The XD Theater is now opened at Marina Mall nearby the Cinescape cinema. The XD Theater gives a 6D motion ride experience and they have three new 3D movies showing.

The ticket price is 3 K.D per person. I think its a great place for family and kids.

We had an enjoyable visit to Kuwait Flight Simulation Center. I love aviation and I remember I wanted to be a pilot and this place made me really feel like one.

The center simply gets you the best flight simulation experience ! There are many planes to fly such as Boeing 737, Boeing 747, Boeing 777, Airbus Pro 320, Airbus 321, Airbus 330 among others.

There’s also the F-16, F-18, and a Helicopter and you can synchronize them to go on missions and dog-fights, interesting !

The center is designed to look like an airport with a comm. tower, nice ! I spoke with the manager Eng. Abdulmalik Al Mobaiedh about the center and asked if they offer real training:

“We offer realistic training and prepare you for the Private Pilot Licence (PPL). Our center is approved by the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA)” he said.

I noticed they give classes on aviation. I got inside the Airbus Pro 320 and it felt so realistic from the engine sounds to weather conditions, turbulence and engine failures too.

They also have a hobby-craft shop, Lounge Cafe, and a Pilot shop selling aviation hardware and software. I asked how much this cost and I was told that simulators booked at one hour intervals range from 10 to 35 K.D/hr

The event held for 1.5hr started at 4pm with 35 kids attending . Mrs. Diana started interacting with the kids and then read the story. She asked the kids to draw what they understood from the story.  The teachers choose 2 best drawings one for a girl and one for a boy and THAT AL SALAS IL gave them a gift for each winner.

The event was a success and we’re hoping to make another one soon.”
