قمت قبل قليل بقراءة ملخص مؤتمر شركة أبل الذي عقدته مساء اليوم وقامت من خلاله بالكشف عن آخر التطورات والمنتجات للشركة وخلاف ما كان متوقع لم تقم الشركة بالاعلان عن الجهاز المنتظر لدى الكثيرين آي فون 5, والآن سأقوم بشرح بشكل سريع لما جاء بالمؤتمر.ا

نظام تشغيل ابل IOS 6: حسب ما ذكره المدير التنفيذي للشركة ان نظام التشغيل الجديد لاجهزة الآي فون والآيباد سيكون الاكثر تطورا بالعالم, وسيضاف اليه خاصية التكامل مع موقع التواصل الاجتماعي فيس بوك بالاضافة لمزايا اخرى سأشرحها بالتفصل عند طرحه للمستخديم.ا

جهاز MacBook Pro: اعلنت الشركة انه سيكون هناك جيل جديد للجهاز بحجم ذاكرة اكبر 8 جيجا بايت ومعالج اسرع وشاشة ذات مقاس اكبر 15.8 بوصة بتقنية “ريتينا” وكثافة 1800 * 2880 بالاضافة لوزن 4.5 رطل وسمك 0.71 بوصة ومساحة تخزين 256 جيجا بايت وسعره ابتداء من 2,229 دولار, نعم انه خفيف ونحيف جدا.ا

نظام تشغيل OS X Mountain: ستطلق الشركة نظام التشغيل الجديد لاجهزتها بسعر 19.99 دولار ابتداء من شهر يوليوا القادم.ا

تحديثات لخدمة Siri: صرحت الشركة انها قامت بتحسين خدمة سيري باضافة اكثر من 200 ميزة جديدة لها.ا

نظام الخرائط والملاحة الجديد Turn-by-turn navigation: اعلنت الشركة عن نظام جديد للملاحة يقال انه سيتفوق على برنامج خرائط قوقل وسيشمل على رسوميات توضيحية ثلاثية الابعاد للمدن والشوارع وسيساعد كثيرا للوصول الى الوجهة المطلوبة.ا

I’m looking for a good headphones to use for the gym and exercise since music can really help, I know Beats by Dr. Dre Headphones are good but I wanted something new. The new SMS Sync by 50 Cent wireless stereo headphones were just released in Kuwait, but the cash price is KD108 which isn’t cheap.

Quality-wise, I was impressed with the 16-bit digital sound experience, the bass was awesome plus the design is cool and being wireless gives freedom. The battery lasts for approx. 17 hours and the wireless allows you to be 15.5 meters away, great. There is also this nice feature which allows group listening, and the passive-noise cancelling technology is amazing.

The wired version costs KD81 but I loved the wireless one, you can find it at Eureka Salmiyah.

My friend bought this smart watch so-called “I’m Watch” from Europe, its a touch screen and multi-tasking watch that can be connected to smart phones (iPhone, Androids, Blackberry… etc) via bluetooth and can do many functions like making phone calls, checking your twitter account, facebook, emails, listen to music, weather, appointments… etc and supports both Arabic and English.

It has a nice TFT display and weighs about 70 grams and the size (see above) was slightly big and it comes in different colors. I saw yesterday on the paper that Abdul Rahman Al Babtain will bring it to Kuwait so I called them and they said it will be available from first of June but didn’t specify the price, but I think it won’t be less than 100 KD.

A relative of mine just bought the latest DSLR camera from Canon,  EOS 5D Mark III, and luckily I got my hands on it to get some impressions. Its available in Kuwait at AAB stores (Shamiya co-op & Salmiya City Center) for 1,099 KD (body only) and for 1,325 KD with EF 24-105mm lenses.

Outside it looked similar to the previous canon cameras but it brings many new features such as 22.3-megapixel resolution, fast autofocus, 6 fps shooting, 1080p HD video recording, full-frame sensor delivering images up to ISO 102,400 and large optical viewfinder.

Also the 3.2″ rear LCD display was sharper and clearer and it shuts off when you connect an HDMI TV cable, another cool thing is that its smaller in size but was slightly heavier (900 grams) than the previous model.

Some of the shortcomings include no built-in flash, slower focus in video modes, no HDMI cable given, and pricey. I think its a great option for pro photographers but I heard that Nikon D4 is even better?

I stumbled upon this video on YouTube which shows a guy pouring gasoline on seven Windows based laptops and set them on fire because he’s converting to Mac OS laptops. If you ask me I’d say that this is totally insane!

He could have given the laptops to those who cannot afford buying them.
