I can relate why schmucks in sedans and SUVs abuse safe lanes in Kuwait. However, what I can’t relate is when bikes abuse safe lanes.
My friend from Dubai has sent me photos for new Lamborghini Aventador police cars in Dubai! Let me re-phrase it; KD 140K+ Lamborghini Aventador that can speed up to 349km/h for the police in Dubai! That’s heavy, forget about economy crises I say. That would undoubtedly be world’s most expensive patrol car ever. “God” is there anyway I could work as a cop in Dubai? Anyone has any ‘Wasta’ please!

Have you guys heard about this whole new supercar so-called Lykan? Supposedly it’s the first ever Arabian Super Car in the world, and it happens to be the most expensive ever. Lykan was made by Lebanon, they say it has an enhanced Porsche engine that produces 751 horsepower and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in merely 2.8 secs and reach the astonishing top speed of 395 km/hr! This even beats the latest and fastest Ferrari, LaFerrar F70, that was recently unveiled at Geneva motorshow, superb.
Though this doesn’t come cheap since Lykan costs over 3.4 Million Dollar (One million Dinar roughly) making it the most expensive supercar ever made. I’m pretty sure that many of you “speed lovers” are now dying to see this supercar in real, right? The answer is yes you can and in Kuwait!

I came across this amazing video done by a very talented Kuwaiti. The production was done so well, it captured the beauty of the Lamborghini and the love for speed.
The Lamborghini Aventador is a two-door, two-seater sports car publicly unveiled by Lamborghini at the Geneva Motor Show on 28 February 2011, five months after its initial unveiling in Sant’Agata Bolognese. Internally codenamed LB834, the Aventador was designed to replace the ten-year-old Murciélago as the new flagship model in the Lamborghini lineup starting in 2011. Soon after the Aventador unveiling, Lamborghini announced that it had already sold over 12 months of the production vehicles, with deliveries starting in the second half of 2011.
In keeping with Lamborghini tradition, the Aventador is named after a bull. The Aventador was a bull that fought particularly valiantly in 1993.

I was patiently waiting to see the photos for the new generation of Range Rover Sport 2013 because I was planning to get one if the price is reasonable and it looks good enough. Well, I just checked the images which were revealed at New York Motorshow. The new Range Rover looks kinda similar to the Range Rover 2013 combined with the Evoque model, they say the new Range Rover Sport 2013 is 420kg lighter (39% lighter) than the current model because it’s made of light aluminum, this is great because it will reduce fuel consumption.
It’s not just lighter but also bigger in size, I read that it’s 6cm longer than its predecessor; the wheelbase is 18cm longer and the overall width has increased by 6cm. Engine-wise; the petrol model has 5.0-litre V8 engine and produces 503bhp (that’s stronger and faster than the older model), there’s also V-6 supercharged version with 3.0-liter engine making 340 horsepower. Now judging from the pictures that I saw; the cabin looks more spacious and has more legroom than its older generation. They say it will go on sale in summer 2013 with starting price of £52,000 (KD26,000) but I suspect it will more expensive when it arrives to Kuwait, I overheard the pre-order has already started in Kuwait with KD500 down-payment, again I’m not sure either.
So do you think it’s worth the money and will it be a big hit in Kuwait just like the older model when it was first released in 2005?
